Installed it myself and it was a breeze. No issues whatsoever.

Caution, this item is not a heat pump. Amazon has it incorrectly listed as a heat pump, but it is not. It is only an AC unit and does not have the reversing valve required for heat pump operation. Unfortunately, it took several weeks to get a qualified installer, and my 30-day free return window has expired. In the pictures above, the new AC from Amazon is on the left and does not have a reversing valve. Look closely at the picture on the right and you can see the reversing valve for heat pump operation. Do your homework and look up the Dometic model number.

This AC unit has a poor mounting design for the motor and fan unit. They use self-tapping screws threading into rubber grommets. The screws backed out after one hour of use and the fan jammed. I had to remove the top cover and remount the motor and fan assembly. Why they cheaped out and used screws instead of a bolt and nuts is beyond me. For the price of this unit, you would think they could afford three bolts and three nuts.

Pretty much plug and play, cools well. Kinda noisy, but is mounted in front bedroom of my fifth wheel. Used original thermostat and control box, no issues at all. Purchased inside diverter that was suggested. Has controls on it that are not needed, non-ducted application. Is very heavy and awkward, suggest two grown men and a stout boy to move it on to the top of trailer

This unit came with the relay module or (CCC2) It installed nicely and the seal is installed on the bottom, mine came with small dent in it but can't see it,for this install all you need is to purchase a dometic thermostat and vent kit, I ducted mine. The part number I received was a 641816CXX1J0. The pictures are of the wiring diagram, and the wires coming out of the bottom of the unit are for the furnace,12v DC, 120v AC, thermostat communication, and the last picture is of the CCC2.
