Spellbinding Images: A Fantasy Coloring Book Collection: Volumes 1, 2, 3 & 4

The media could not be loaded.  I own a couple of grayscale coloring books by Nikki Burnette but had not purchased any of her regular line drawing coloring books. When I saw that she had put together a coloring book which included all four volumes of her first four books, I decided that it would be a good time and a great value to purchase it.The drawings are familiar to me as the grayscale is based on the same figures. It is quite fun to color some of the same images and there are certainly so many more that I have not yet seen. The drawings are a mix of detailed and more simple drawings. That provides a good change of pace while I am coloring. The detailed drawings have backgrounds and lots of elements where the more simple drawings are of the fantasy female by herself.This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing the paper with my coloring medium:80 Female Fantasy Line Drawing Designs, including witches, fairies and mermaidsPrinted one side of the pagePaper is type of CreateSpace paper: thin, white, slightly rough, and non-perforated.Glue BoundDesigns do not merge into the binding and designs have a framing line at the outer edge for a natural stopping point. There is plenty of room to cut pages out if you choose to do so.Alcohol-based markers bleed through the paperWater-based markers bleed through in spotsGel pens and India ink pens leave colorful shadows on the back of the page. India ink pens can seep through in spots if used heavily or in multiple coats.Colored pencils worked nicely with this thin but slightly rough paper. I tested both oil and wax based pencils and got good color with multiple layers of the same color, good results from layers of different colors and nice blending results using a blending stick. Hard lead pencils easily dent through the page and can damage the page below.I use a blotter page of card stock or a couple of sheets of heavier weight paper under my working page. It keeps seeping ink and marring dents from ruining the pages below.

I love this collection of Nikki's coloring books volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4. It is a great price and a bargain to get four of her coloring books in one collection. It is filled with beautiful fantasy witches, fairies, mermaids, and animals. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys coloring fantasy pictures. I will be buying volumes 5 and 6 next, as I am very happy with the artwork in her books.

Fantastic book. This book is huge. Nice and thick. Containing line-art from volume 1-4 into one book. I really like that they are all together. So happy I purchased.

Absolutely LOVE these adult coloring books!!! Perfect for beginners, or advanced as I add a lot of shading & extra details. I love using prismacolor colored pencils, gel pens, markers & pastels. Even my friends are amazed & delighted by these wonderful designs! I love & bought all of her coloring books & I really look forward to purchasing more!

Since I have these pictures in her other color books I know how much is missing in these pictures and it is a lot of detail that has been deleted. So buy the individual books and leave this one at the store because the finished pictures are much nicer

Love that I got this book. Very good value for the money. Paper quality is fantastic and images are great. Love books that are single sided and of course who could pass up a 4 in 1 book huge savings.

What a bargain! It's like 4 books in 1 full of Nikki's beautiful images. Sure to keep you busy coloring for a long time!

This is my fiest book by Nikki Burnette and its a big one. Volumes 1threw 4. Lots of colouring but to me the pictures are very large and cartoonish which is great if you like that.

Person that it was a gift for ... loved it.
