The Relationship Principles of Jesus

This is a book everyone should read. Our Ladies Ministry group used it for a book study along with the DVD by Rick Warren 40 Days of Love. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a wonderful source of self help for everyone.

This is one of the most impactful books I've read in years. Because Jesus was the greatest relationship builder in history, it only makes sense that we can all learn from his example, but distilling his words and actions into something that we can all apply to our personal relationships with others so that we can live a more Christlike and fulfilling life is not so easy. This book makes it seem so. Chapter by chapter, Tom Holladay applies the principles lived and taught by Jesus to real life situations we can all relate to and learn from. I've bought three copies of this to give to others, and the response has been very positive. There are many individual chapters, with thoughtful questions and key points at the end of each chapter, so the book is also a great one to utilize for weekly study in fellowships. We in fact have done this with great success.

Just a great book to live by. A reminder of what most people already know but forgot to practice. A refocus on how to be a good person in a very mixed up world.A chapter a day for forty days is very easy.

So today I just finished the 40th and final day in this journey. Learning about the way Jesus related to others is a wonderful way to allow us to think about the way we do the same. For myself, this read gave me a clearer definition on many of the relationship principles taught by Jesus. Not only did it allow me to see what I was doing wrong, it also gave me a sense of wanting to do more. Jesus died so we could learn to love the way He did. It doesn't mean that we are going to be walking around curing others and waking others from the dead. But it will give us a way to realize how we should act towards one another. Loving one another the way Jesus loved us is not about being nice to your friends and family, it is about loving everyone, no matter who they are or where they are from. Read the 40 days of the Relationship Principles of Jesus for yourself and try to follow each day's lesson. Hopefully, you will have learned a thing or 2 about Jesus and His forever love for us.

This study is so practical and life changing. I love the self evaluation at the end of each chapter. Wish I’d done this study years ago.

Awesome read. When your ready to be honest about your relationships with GOD, CHRIST, yourself, family, friend Etc. then this is a good continuous read. I'm grow daily and I'm on my 3rd 40 days journey. Each time I read a chapter GOD reveals another epiphany or area of growth for me. the Key is to focus on your relationship with GOD and his son JESUS and watch how your other relationships fall into GOD will.FATHER in Heaven, Thank you for leading and showing me how to focus on "Not my will, but YOUR will be done in an on my life"in JESUS name I rejoice and pray..... Amen

Our church home group just finished this wonderful study. We agreed that it is one of the most profound and practical insights into daily living we've ever encountered. We met every two weeks, but the study is designed to be completed in seven weeks. There was "so much to chew on" we decided to slow it down and really digest the eternal truths of Jesus' life lessons.Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to enter into deeper relationships with spouses, neighbors, work colleagues and friends.

Well elaborated book about how Jesus manage relationships and therefore an example for human kind.

I requested a second hand copy, a little disappointed as condition was quite poor - lots of penned notes & worn pages.Content very good.
