This product arrived on time and worked fine on first use. Worked ok for a couple of months, but then decided to give up and refuse to pick up and signals at all.As it was more than a couple of months old, I contacted the seller to try and get a replacement. They replied fairly quickly promising a replacement. Unfortunately this hasn't happened and every time I chase it up with them, I get the usual line of we are more than willing to send a replacement and it will be with you soon.Well nearly two months later of going backwards and forwards with broken promises I am fairly certain they won't be honouring their replacement policy. Very disappointed.Avoid!I will edit and update if a replacement does finally arrive, but wont be holding my breath!

I purchased this after updating my PC to Windows 10.I discovered that Win 10 decided to not work with the built in wireless connectivity and I was unable to obtain drivers to make it work, hence going for and external USB adapter.Out of the box, it is a compact and well made. The Ariel hinge has enough friction to be able to adjust is without it flopping down when on an angle.The driver disc it came with installed without any isses too.On the whole it is easily worth the cost. The only down side is that, on occasions, it loses internet connectivity although the wireless signal stays strong (easily passes through two closed doors). Working wifi on my phone confirmed that it wasn't the router at fault.I have found that when this happens, disabling and re-enabling the wifi on my PC sports it out.It's a bit of an annoyance but as said, when it is functioning correctly it's a good adapter.If this didn't happen, it would easily have been 5 stars.

Signal wasn't strong enough to work from the room next door to the router despite other adapters having no problem at all. 6 months later got another computer for the room where the router is located so figured this would do a job after all. Unfortunately it has now stopped working altogether so I have to conclude it is pretty much junk. 6 months isn't long to expect something to work for especially as this wasn't being used and was just sitting in a drawer. You would be well advised to spend your money elsewhere.

Bought a used PC that's 10 years old. The wifi dongle supplied with it just wasn't good - picked up a fraction of the internet connection at home. Everything took ages to download. Bought this and plugged it in same day it arrived. Boom, it worked. Full bar reception of our home internet. Things just load up quickly on the PC. Very pleased. It did what it was supposed to do.Edit : just over 1.5 months after I started using this, it just completely died on me. I'm now seeking a refund or replacement from the seller.

I was having an issue with internet connection; instead of my system connecting automatically I had to do it manually every time, so decided I needed a new dongle. A friend suggested I buy one with an antenna. It does the job but I can't say the speed has increased at all so maybe I didn't need this kind.

Faulty. Didn't work at all from new out of the box. Have tried on various laptops and none of them are even registering that something has been plugged into the USB port. The light isn't coming on on the WiFi dongle. Sent back to Amazon for a refund and ordered another brand.

Bought this only in October 2018 and it last until end of December before it malfunctioned. In the 2 months I had it it was ok, would drop signal every now and then but manageable. Then it started to malfunction and wouldn't pick up signal. Poor value for money.

Tried everything but could not get a better signal strength than 36% on 5g and evem worse on 2.4g. Gave up and got a very cheap 2.4g dongle without antenna - plugged it in and got 100% signal strength. Don't know if the on I had was faulty - returned it and got a refund.

Der Adapter kommt gut verpackt an und musste an einem Windows 10 PC nur angesteckt werden. Treiber wurden automatisch installiert, allerdings sollte man in den Einstellungen nochmal auf Updates prüfen, danach wurden wesentlich neuere Treiber installiert.Mit den aktuellen Treibern erreichen wir das WLAN des "Nachbarn" 1 Stockwerk tiefer und 2 Wohnungseinheiten entfernt zuverlässig.Den Adapter wenn möglich an einem USB3 Port betreiben, da USB2 nicht genug Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit bietet und selbst eine 8000er Leitung ausbremsen würde.Bin für den Preis absolut zufrieden.

I received the 802.11ac adapter but the package contained no information as to which device that was - the package read High Gain Wireless USB adapter 1200Mbps ac/a/n/g/b, Made in China, and little else. The supplied mini-dvd did not contain the appropriate driver and basically hanged with Win7-64b. I had decided to return the device after spending hours trying to figure out which device that was and which driver would make it work. Actually, there were drivers that did install properly but they didn't make the device work. Finally, in a final push, I installed the Realtek 8812bu NIC driver and there was my device! It worked. I get 585 Mbps link speed. My point is, you take a risk by not knowing what you get and if it actually works at all.

Schnelle Lieferung. Funktioniert vorerst wunderbar . Stick war gut verpackt . Was auffiel die Antenne ist Recht groß aber stört keinesfalls. Treiber CD wurde mitgeliefert. Also ich bin zufrieden . Würde ich mir wieder kaufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung .

Hinweis für Interessenten dieses Artikels: Der von mir gekaufte Adapter AC600 hat KEINE USB 2.0 Schnittstelle. Ob der AC1200 USB 3.0 hat kann ich nicht sagen. Deshalb ist die Produktbeschreibung zumindest für AC600 falsch, da man hier davon ausgehen muss, dass beide Adapter USB 3.0 hätten. Ein entsprechendes Produktbild für AC600 fehlt ebenfalls. Einen ähnlichen Adapter mit USB 2.0 hätte ich günstiger bekommen können.

Adapter ausgepackt, eingesteckt, Treiber wurde von Windows 10 instaliert. Die Übertragungsrate ist um Einiges höher, bei mir von 52 auf 130MB/s bis 2300MB/s gestiegen (wechselt je nach Entfernung und Ausrichtung der Antennen.

habe mir den kommen lassen weil ich im Wohnzimmer mit meinem Laptop keinen empfang mehr habe...Router leider zu weit weg....nachdem ich hier nur Positives gelesen habe, musste die Treiber auf Stick ziehen da mein Lappi kein Laufwerk hat.. endlich geladen und dachte nun kann ich im Wohnzimmer mit Lappi relaxen...ah er will noch den Netzwerkschlüssel...und schwups....nixgeht...na dann schick ich Ihn wieder weg

Die Installation des Treibers von CD war einfach. Bisher keine Probleme (ich nutze das Produkt seit 2 Wochen) - alles TOP! :-)

Leider gleich in der zweiten Woche kaputt gegangen. Funktioniert an keinem einzelnen Rechner mehr.
