This is not a book I will be happy reading with my grandchild.
Online it looked cute, but when it arrived I found it to be not very good quality and not a very good story. Oh well, you cannot win every time. But, I would recommend it for a younger child but I still think it is not a good value for me.

Lucy stories
My granddaughter is six and is noticing no pencils, necklaces, or assorted other items with names on them have her name. Well, this book does and it is has a lovely story.

So sweet
I bought this book for my daughter Lucy. We love the story and both of my girls love listening to it at bed time. I bought another copy for a friend.

Dreams before closing the eyes
Massachusetts Sally O. Lee earned her degrees in Studio Art, Art History, graphic design and painting from Colby College, Art institute of Boston, and New York Studio School and became an established artist, including her art grant from MIT where she currently is employed. She has turned her attention to creating the art and texts for her successful line of children’s books, some of which are influenced by her interest in the struggles children with handicaps (“imperfections”) may face. The Lucy series began in 2003 and is a continuing series to the present. Lucy is a female bunny whose escapades fill the pages of all the books in the Lucy Series. Lucy and Seymour are instructed by mother to go to bed and go to sleep, but they have other plans – like dancing as a ballerina, flying through space, riding a motorcycle through the rolling green mountains, diving into the ocean to swim with colorful fish, traveling through jungles to se wild animals – all preambles to special dreams when the two actually go to sleep. What a wonderful way to encourage enjoying bedtime for children! Sally O. Lee knows the special needs of wee children who are reluctant to go to sleep at night, and reading this beautifully illustrated story is a wonderful somnolence-inducing potion! And Lucy travels on…! Grady Harp, May 19This book is free to borrow from Kindle Unlimited
