Absolutely wonderful!
Both wife and I are more than satisfied with how things turned out. Excellent craftsmanship (to put things mildly). Adds significant functionality as well as good looks to our hard working kitchen.I would seriously recommend: (1) go with the 22 gauge stainless steel for rigidity and (2) go with both a front as well as rear riser, also for rigidity. We did both and are very happy we did. It's not that a 24 gauge design without a front riser would be "flimsy"...it won't...but much more a matter of not wanting to end up with very small "depressions" which would serve to accumulate water, especially under relatively heavy loads, rather than allow that water to be drained into the sink. What I'm recommending will cost a bit more but those are $'s well spent. If you're going to invest your hard earned money into something as nice as this drainboard then don't "put cheap wheels on your Ferrari" but build it right the first time so you can spend the remainder of your time enjoying/appreciating what is truly a very functional work of art.Sounds silly getting so excited over a drainboard but order one, see for yourself and then join the crowd of those already expressing many of the same thoughts which you've been reading here. One more piece of advice: think very carefully about how you want things designed before ordering! We wanted one of these to fit into the drainboard, for example: ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004NEWF4S?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) so those dimensions needed to be taken into consideration along with kitchen counter and sink requirements.

Expensive but worth it; it's custom-made
I ordered an extra-large, custom size, 21" x 24", for my home kitchen sink. I needed a larger size to fit neatly a counter in the kitchen corner, and catch drips from glasses placed on the outside of the dish rack. Victory on both counts. The craftsmanship is excellent, and it looks like a perfect extension of my stainless steel sink. I had worried about the stock feet, whether the board would drain well, and reach to the sink edge, but it works and fits perfectly. If I were ordering again, I would probably opt for the thicker steel, at least at the size I needed, for greater stiffness. It oilcans a little with uneven hand pressure, but for dishes ... it works perfectly well the way it is. Wish I'd found it years ago.

Recommend! Couldn't ask for better
Tired of wasting my money on trying different drain racks that were never big enough to accommodate my pots and pans, not to mention all my dishes, I decided to splurge on this one with great hopes of success. It's been almost one year since my purchase, and NO REGRETS. I LOVE this! I scratch cook, and use a lot of dishes, so the dish rack always stays on my counter, and fits in with my decor nicely. Having it made custom, it fits my counter space perfectly. Very easy to clean. Very satisfied with my Drain board, well worth the extra money.

Dish rack bottom
A little flimsy at front needs a stiffener added. Pan sags at front and water puddles. Nice looking and does the job.

Outstanding Craftmanship!
I am not someone who usually will take the time to right a review. But...when I make a purchase with something that is hand crafted and with outstanding quality...I have to make the time to let everyone know. I purchased this drain board with the heavy gauge steel and feet options. It is extremely well made!! The fact that you can have it customized to the size that you need is unbelievable. This drain board is just simply "AWESOME". The order did take about a month...but well worth the wait! FYI: Remember that water spots on stainless steel wipe off easily with white vinegar and a paper towel...I want to shout out a special "KUDOS" to the maker of this fine product!~Thank You

Perfect Custom Drainboard
As you will see in the photo I have a corner sink so no drainboard will fit behind or on the side of the sink and still drain into the sink properly. I purchased this custom drainboard, and I'm glad I did. I submitted my photo with the measurements using two risers to keep the drainboard off the granite and off the edge of the sink. Homeplace and I sent a few messages back and forth to ensure the drainboard measurements were correct, and they were meeting my needs. The drainboard came out perfect. The drainboard has a great slope to it with the two risers so the water runs out nicely. The main body of the drainboard doesn't touch the granite, except for the bottom of the risers, the corner was cut to allow for the angle, and the drain opening was offset to allow the dish holder to sit away from the wall but still drain into the sink. The drainboard was made a few inches wider to accommodate catching water from the glasses that are placed at the back (far right of drainboard in picture) of the drainboard. I would recommend Homeplace Market Wagon to everyone. They care about their products and they care about their customers.

Drain board wide enough to catch all the drips
Oh, I love this. The largest board I could find didn't allow any glasses to be hung outside the rack or they'd drip on to the counter. The flatware holder had to be hung inside the rack for the same reason. That left a good bit less space in the rack for anything other than a few plates. I found myself drying all glasses/mugs immediately so that I could use that space. I hated that the rack/drain board manufacturers had started making their racks/drain boards so much smaller than they used to be...didn't hate it enough to start using a dishwasher, though (hate them even more). Now I have the luxury of hanging glasses/mugs/flatware holder on the outside and having enough space on the inside of the rack for bowls/cooking containers/etc.This looks good with my stainless steel sink...so much neater and cleaner looking than the old drain board. What you don't see in the picture is that there's a 1" leg running the width of the board along the back...gives the right amount of slope for good drainage (assuming your sink is flush with your counter). This is certainly one of the "little things in life" that make me happy.
