Upon setting up the Chipolo classic, I couldn't get the finder to beep. Replaced the battery. It beeped. Then, I got the "locked to another user" error. I emailed Chipolo with all relevant information, including the serial/model of the finder, and a screen shot of the error. I received an email from "Edina" 24 hours later, requesting the exact same information I'd already sent. Sigh.Have not heard back. I received the finder on Monday; it's Friday and it's not working.Junk. Avoid.

My keys fell out of my pocket while sitting in a chair.... and the Chipolo shattered into a worthless pile of plastic crumbs.... very disappointing.

Returned the Tile and bought this after realizing the tile will not notify you when you are out of range of your item.Chipolo, despite having a name I don’t love and can’t remember to save my life, does have a feature for notifying you when your item, my wife’s purse in this case, is out of range of your phone. Just the feature we need to help prevent traveling 100s of miles before realizing your purse is at a highway rest stop!

This tile has a "separation alert" that chimes on itself and your phone if it becomes separated.So if you have ever left home and forgotton your phone or left your phone in your car you know what I'm talking about.Just stick this to something you always have when using the car... keys, wallet, glasses case and you will get a separation chime if you have forgotten our phone.Of course, it can also help you find your phone and your phone can find the tile

Disk is much thicker than I expected. Not easy to get ring in the hole either due to thickness. Worth the trouble if it works, however had to replace the included battery in less than a week.

It works great when it can stay connected

This product was very disappointing. I set it up, tested, then then I needed to find my keys. Went to my app and found that my app logged out on its own. So I logged back in. There was nothing registered. I never found my key. Still looking for it.

Easy to use and very helpful.Range wise is good compared to other brands.However, I noticed that the batteries die sooner than expected. I replace them every 3-4 months!

I only ordered my Chipolo on Bank Holiday Monday and it arrived on the following day. It is very easy to set up, just download the APP and you are ready to go. I am forever losing my car keys and my iPhone but this little gadget can solve both problems. I'm fine at the weekend, when my Grandson comes because he always manages to find my keys, wherever I have left them and puts them back on my hook in the key box, always insisting mine should be on a certain hook and my Wife's on the other. After putting my Chipolo on my keyring, last night, I couldn't find them this morning, suddenly realised they had Chipolo on them, so just pressed the APP button and it located them under a pile of papers. I then discovered it can also locate the phone too, just by pressing piccolo twice, it makes the phone ring. Probably like most others, I never read the instructions, so was pleasantly surprised with this additional help. This little device is going to save me so much time and stress in the future, I just wish I'd known about it before. For all you forgetful folk like me, it is an absolute essential piece of kit. the best £22 I have ever spent.

Bought for a family member who has severe memory issues as a Xmas present. He was chuffed to bits, not so much when it took over an hour to get it connected (even using the troubleshooting guide online) and then emitted such a weak noise that he couldn't find which drawer it was coming from in their 10ft square kitchen. Now it doesn't make any noise at all!A massive disappointment, presumably defective or the battery was run down...even more disappointing is the zero contact from customer service after 2 emails sent in the last 10 days (I realise it's been Xmas, but we are now well into January!) To say I'm annoyed is an understatement! Left with the most expensive piece of plastic in the World!Would give zero stars if I could.

Yesterday I bought a Chipolo Classic and a competitor brand, Tile Mate. Both similar price, size and weight (one is square and one is round. So this is an initial comparison.Set up on both devices was quite easy. The Tile also came with a short instruction/warranty which explains how to replace the battery. It also ‘feels’ like a more professional product and setup.Main reason for writing the review is this: the sound on the Tile is quite reasonable, sufficient to find it if you were hunting from room to room. The sound on the Chipolo is shockingly quiet. To find it, you’d need a quiet house and the Chipolo not for instance covered by a pair of socks.No contest. The Tile is far better value. I’ll probably try to send the Chipolo back. I can’t imagine attaching it to anything valuable.

Sorry - a damning review, but really I simply do not know. I could not get the bluetooth to link on two separate mobile phones. On a third, and on a laptop, it linked. However since one of the non-linkers was the phone that goes with me in my pocket, I had to conclude that Chipolo was not much immediate use to me. I looked up on the website the list of phones it was known to work with, but that was pretty short. It took me an hour or so to come to the no-work conclusion, and so I decided I was not going to avail myself of the Help-line [ another hour?] but instead use another device that I had ordered up at the same time. That was simply a case of putting the battery in. A pity, as the Chipolo promised so much more. Though, as one wit commented, as you step off the plane at the other end it will tell you that your house keys are on the table at home!

I really like the product.The locator on Google maps is very good. The only negative for me is the volume.It is not loud enough. I have spoken to the team, who are very helpful,and it is something they are working on. I have already lost my keys once in the park , and although I couldn’t hear the sound I located them through the map
