Fun, great workout
Really like Kathy Smith workouts. Thought Power Walking might be lame but it's a good workout. Part 1 30 min. lots of variety, easy to follow. Part 2 is 3 10 min workouts. One of my favorites now that I'm getting a little older. No high impact aerobics.

Efficient and Effective Workout
I'm recovering from an ankle injury and just recently started using this DVD. I've done the workout 5 times so far and it is definitely effective if you are looking to trim your tummy, thighs and hips, tone your arms and get rid of luv handles. The first time I did this workout, there seemed to be something off with the timing but I notice that it now makes sense. I've been doing Kathy Smith workouts off an on for over 20 years and they work. This workout to me is a combination of her fat burning workout and some parts of her lift weights to lose weight workout except its efficient. This workout consist of a 30 minute walking, light weights and cool down segment; 10 minutes of abs and weights; and then stretching and cool down. I get a good workout and sweat with the 30 minute segment. The music is fun and upbeat and there is something very youthful about the presentation. Her walking includes some prancing or jumping but I keep walking. This workout includes a matrix, I don't know what a matrix is but I like the workout. Some of the moves do look jerky, but I listen to my body and go at my own pace. This DVD isn't hard and I've already gotten results. I prefer to lift heavier weights because its fun but I will definitely put this DVD in my regular rotation because I know for my body that light weights really slim me.

More Low Impact Aerobics than "Walking"
Love KS. However, this more low impact aerobics than walking, which is still OK with me. I don't mind the superimpositions (is that a word?, but it would have been nice if they could have edited the pieces together better so that Kathy and the Walkers were actually in sync. Kathy's cueing was a little off at times too, which was really strange for KS. She's usually pretty perfect. In spite of the poor editing and the slightly off cues, I did like this DVD. IT got my heart rate up a little just like I wanted, while using light weights. will I add it to my rotation? Yes...

Fun and effective
This has become my favorite workout video. I find it to be effective and fun. It does take a bit to get used to the style of how the dvd is filmed and how they are all dressed, but once I did I found myself reaching for this day after day.

I have enjoyed doing the exercise and just rest when it gets ...
Even though I'm 71 and the pace of this DVD is very fast, I have enjoyed doing the exercise and just rest when it gets to much for me and jump back in as soon as I have my breath back. I'm trying to lose weight and the movements in this DVD have resulted in getting my waist back in just a couple of weeks!

Cheesy Video
Although I like Kathy Smith videos, this particular video feels cheesy. I gave it a 1 star rating because she's standing in front of a green screen with other people exercising on the screen out of sync. The screen flashes between random outdoors scenes so often that there's no flow and it feels very fake. The exercises are probably effective, but I was so distracted by the off-putting music and her awkward positioning in front of the green screen that I could't use it to work out properly. I would not recommend this particular Kathy Smith video to anyone.

Four Stars
A good DVD for walking but a little fast for me at first.

This One is a Keeper
Used this dvd and got a great workout. More than you could have expected, it's not just walking but much more.
