Very nice quality for the price
For a very reasonable price, this brand of polarizer is solidly made and has worked for me very well. I have had no trouble with attaching it to my lenses (Canon) or the other UV filters that I use (I put the UV filter first and then the polarizer). I feel that I got a great product for the money spent!I wanted to get a couple of affordable polarizer filters before sinking money into the more expensive brand that my other filters are. I had not used polarizers before, but had used very low stop ND filters for shooting in very bright sunlight. I just wanted to try out real polarizers to see if I could get more benefit in my own usage vs. an ND filter. I realize now that while both types of filters are handy, they definitely are different and act upon light coming into your lens in totally different ways. The two types are not interchangeable, though an ND filter can help cut super bright sunlight. A polarizer can cut reflection, regardless of brightness of the scene - especially on transparent surfaces. You probably know that a polarizer can make a sky with clouds really pop, but where you really see the effect of polarizing the light is when you take pictures of anything shiny, like store windows, cars, bodies of water with sunlight, etc. When you cut glare, you can see THROUGH the transparent surfaces like windows or shallow water, and create sharper points of light on shiny surfaces like chrome, for example.

A Very Good Value
I was hesitant at first, but I figure for under $8 and with fulfillment by Amazon I could take a risk. Plus, I was using a gift card that was about to expire to pay for everything anyway. The upshot is that for less than $8, the Zeikos CPL does a good enough job of cutting glare and reflections, while also giving me some optical control over color saturation. Is it a perfect CPL? No, of course not. Does it reduce image sharpness? Well, what do you think, it cost less than eight bucks--but surprisingly that reduction is fairly negligible. While it's not a perfect CPL, I'm perfectly happy with what I got--a very usable circular polarizing filter. And while it might reduce sharpness a little, it does not do so intrusively and the loss is far shy of what I'd expect from such a low priced filter. I'd happily use this filter for snapshots of landscapes, beach scenes, wildlife, and other types of general or vacation type uses. If you need to print something that looks professionally done, then you'll have to weigh the gain in color and reflection control over the very minor loss in sharpness. If you're not a pixel peeper, you probably won't even notice any loss of sharpness.Bottom line: If you're not a professional shooter and are looking into trying out the fun filled world of filters, you could do far worse than investing in a Zeikos CPL.

Nice filter, but does not fit the camera very well
I bought this based on other reviewers recommendations to protect the camera lens. I totally agree, much cheaper to replace the filter then to buy a new lens if you bang it into something. Highly recommend you do likewise. It stated that it fit on the Panasonic DMC-FZ35. It does, and it screws on very easily. The problem I am having is my lens cap barely fits over top of it and keeps falling off. Other then that, it does a great job. I'm too lazy to screw it on and take it off every time I use it, so I will probably try and find one that fits better in the future. The other minor issue is when you turn on this camera with the lens cap on, it will tell you to remove it. But when you have this filter on, it does not. It just extends the lens with the cap still on. Again minor issue. And again, both my issues are specifically with the fit on a panasonic dmc-fz35 camera.

Good value for money
I usually buy top-quality B+W filters, but since I needed a 72mm circular polarizer and the Zeikos was a fraction of the cost of B+W's, I decided to give it a try. Optically it seems fine; the image isn't distorted, and as a circular polarizer it does its job well. It screws onto the lens smoothly, also. My one annoyance with the Zeikos is that it is rather stiff to turn: rotating it counter-clockwise has an irritating tendency to start unscrewing the filter from the lens, which could result in it coming completely off and being dropped. This is something to watch out for, but it may be acceptable if price is a consideration and you don't plan to use it a lot. If you're the sort of photographer who uses polarizers all the time, you'd probably be better off spending the money for a B+W.

Lense Mounted FZ28 CPL
This little filter was a real surprise. At the $8 price, I didn't expect much. But I was really surprised how well it works. It cut the glare from my lawn pond better than any of my other name brand filters. It's not the highest quality mounting, but it is a nice handling design and fits the FZ28 nicely. I didn't notice any deterioration in image quality in some moderate control tests. It is a little touchy for fine adjustment, but seems to get good results regardless of how closely you adjust. If you are looking for a low cost CPL to try, this one works. I've seen Zeicos filters recommended as a good low cost filter on other sites, I just didn't believe it until now.

Works well for the money!
Works a treat on a old Pentax and Mamiya lens. The thread is a little skinny, so you might want to be careful that it won't get stuck on your lens, but the polariser bit rotates pretty easily and works well. I haven't got anything to compare it too, mind but I'm impressed, certainly for the money. There's no case for this though, nor any covers. I have a spare lens cap on one end and put it in a spare lens extender case, so not ideal but it works for me when I'm not using the thing.

Bad build quality
Poor build quality, I've only used this filter once and there is already some kind of dust or moisture inside the glass, unable to clean it off, made a good bunch of my pictures blurry. Also the polarizing effect is not even that noticeable, however the yellow tint is. Heck, I've had better results from an AmazonBasics CPL filter. I'm returning this, wouldn't recommend if you're an ounce serious about photography.

A real bargain for a polarizing filter
Purchased in the last couple of weeks for a lens with a 77mm filter size. The price was one-fifth that of the next cheapest offering, and one-tenth of the professional offerings. Construction and finish of the filter is very good. If there is any loss of optical quality in the final images I can't see it. If you are a professional you may be able to rationalize the more expensive filters but if your images are primarily viewed on a screen or posted to web sites this filter works just fine.

This is a great addition to my amateur GoPro cinematography arsenal
This is a great addition to my amateur GoPro cinematography arsenal. at 7.50 CAD, you really can't complain about the build quality. It is sturdy, and a great alternative to the Polaroid and others that can retail for much more on Amazon and eBay.The polarizing ability is relatively weak, but does the trick and helps filter out the rays that would otherwise wash out greens and blues (and if you want a more drastic effect, I believe the same company offers others).I use this with a BlurFix 3+ 55 mm filter adapter, which I would highly recommend for any GoPro user. Also, for other GoPro related filters, tips adapter, filmography tips I would follow MicBergsma on YouTube, he is fantastic

Quality product
Japan had produced many well known camera like Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Canon, etc ... this Made In Japan Multi-coated circular Polarizer meets all the high requirements of quality optics. It doesn't change the final result of a sharp image in term of temperature, color. Absolutely very good and reliable product.
