I have been using multiple cheap SD Card readers in the past. They used to work for few months before giving up the life.Finally I came over this product. This is far better and has very decent write read speeds. To make use of the maximum speed use this on USB 3.0 ports on your PC/Laptop.The build quality is solid and supports both SD and microSD card.If you value brand go for Transcend. But I guess this serves you good at almost half the cost.

Well, If you want to utilize the sd cards advertised read and write speeds look no further than this excellent card reader. I tested it with 5 year old sandisk ultra micro sd which has claimed read speed of 80mbps. I tried this on Usb 3.1 port on Acer aspire 3, running amd ryzen 3 3250u processor which is i3 equivalent.Speed test shows 77 mbps read speed and 14mbps wirte speed on usb 3.1 port and 34 mpbs read speed and 14 mbps write speed on usb 2.0 port. Practically copying 2.5gb data to sd card shows 15mbps write speed and read speed was more than 175mbps. It copied 2.5gb from sd card to ssd in few seconds, astonishing speed that.Unbranded local card reader gets 18mbps read speed and 14 mpbs write speed on usb 3.1 port using the same sd card.This clearly shows how effective the cable hunter card reader is.This card reader also worked on type c Otg on my mobile and it write speeds were around 20mpbs.If you have any latest sd cards which promise higher read and write speed, you will get even better results than mine.The only con for this product is that its wider than usual card readers or pen drive. You will not be able to use adjacent usb port on TV or PC. only one usb port can be used while using this card reader.Build looks solid and no complaints hope this card reader lasts for few years !

This card reader has USB 3.0 technology so if you have USB 3 on our computer it will read and write faster.If you only have USB 2 then it will still work, but you won't see any speed difference from other card readers.Overall I am very happy. This sort of device either will be great or rubbish depending on how you want to use it. For me it is great!good product,strong bodynice and compact., can be carried in trouser pockets if needed.usb 3.0.definitely worth the purchase.good alternative to other products availablecomplete value for money.

Good product but it reads one sd at one time.Price is little bit high otherwise product and its quality is best.

I have ordered the in prime, and same as be delivered by next day. Its very handy tool for the photographer and regular photo shooters to transfer the file quickly for processing. The transfer rate is good when compare to the direct card slot in the laptop.Overall the good product with the budget and easy to use!!!
