Very good light pad with lots of features!
Awesome and convenient light pad. I've been using it for about a couple of months now for 2D animation. The best thing is you can change the intensity of the light according to your need compared to the traditional vinyl disc light tables. Here's the ups and downs....Pros: 1) Very Good brightness range. (Can also be used as an LED panel torch in case of a sudden power cut) 2) Portable and lightweight. You can carry it anywhere you want. 3) Can be connected to a laptop or a power bank so any micro USB cable works with it. The one provided with it is long and very robust. 4) The plastic glass surface is good and doesn't gets scratched easily.Cons: 1) Because its pretty light and thin, it can break easily if used carelessly or someone accidentally sits on it or falls off the table. 2) No kegs. So you gotta hold the stack and check the alignment of the sheets every time you flip the paper. 3) No inbuilt battery. It needs constant power from a source to work. 4) No warranty and a bit heavy on the price, since its imported. Mine's working fine till now but if I run into some issue I'll write an update.Overall, if you cant find a classic light table anywhere, you can go for this one. If this item was sold in India, it would cost approx 2K to 3K INR. Maybe even less. I'm happy with this purchase.

This is probably the best buy. Highly recommended
This is probably the best buy. Highly recommended. I use it almost everywhere and I power it using my power bank so I don't have to sit next to the switchboard. The charging cable is really long so it's a perfect light able for studios

Fantastic, but with a small design "issue"
I bought this to take photos of my glass plate negatives. Despite some reviews saying it was no good for this, I found it was brilliant, a clear bright light without any signs of spots or blemishes. I wanted to give it 5 out of 5, but.... the white power lead supplied with it, is very long, but the plug fit into the light pad was very tight. In fact so tight it half pulled out the socket in the pad. I was going to send it back, but I managed to fit it all back together and used one of my old leads and it looks fine and works great. So if you buy one and the lead is tight fit, don't force it one, just use another lead. Job done.

Dodgy socket
This is really good, BUT the little socket on the side is fragile and pulled out when I unplugged it. I didn't want the bother of sending it back so I've taped around it with black electrical tape and it's secure and doesn't look bad. Apart from that I'm delighted with it and have already used it quite a lot. It works even with 300gsm watercolour paper, but would be EVEN better if it was a smidgen brighter. 4 stars - a happy customer.

Provision of a good "flat" requires a very uniform source of white light ...
I use the USB-powered A4 light panel as a light source for my astronomical imaging telescopes to provide what is called a "flat". Provision of a good "flat" requires a very uniform source of white light across the telescope objective - and this panel does produce a VERY uniform light source. It is also extremely useful to be able to dim the panel down in order that the "flat" exposure time is several seconds. With the panel on minimum illumination and a sheet of cartridge paper over the front (to dim the light even more) I typically have an 8-second exposure time, pretty much ideal for my system.

Exactly what I needed!
I purchased this light box to use for my photography to light negatives for inspection. Its ideal just the right amount of light to view the negatives and the light source and box doesn't heat up so there is no chance of the negatives being damaged. When searching for a light box I noticed a few negative comments about the box being USB powered and not mains power, I guess they just thought about its uses and environment for which most people would have this sitting on a desk along with their PC, laptop or MAC. One way around this is to use a USB plug adapter, its no big deal when you think how cheap this product is to buy.Its nice and slim, light and has measuring units down the width and length of the screen.

Great just what is says on the tin!
I should have brought one of these ages ago I spent ages looking at reviews before deciding to give Huion L4S a try ,it is so easy to use and great for copying pictures. I use watercolour paper and did not think anything would be able to be seen through this, I use (Daler Rowney) The Langton cold press 300 gsm 140 lb paper and it works really well. Would recommend this product.
