Worked Great! Then died 2 months later.
So, I bought this wireless card two months ago and it is no longer recognized by my computer. I reseated it in the pci slot... nothing. I spent nine hours searching forums and the nooks and crannies of the internet for answers to my problem; my searches were fruitless. I am going to try to rma it. I do not recommend getting this card - $24.99 down the drain.

Edimax EW-7722In 300Mbps 11n Wireless PCI adapter with 2 x 3dBi Detachable Antennas
I purchased this for a used 1.6GHz Power Mac G5 desktop I was given. I have it in the basement on my workbench, and my wireless router is on the second floor in my house. The Power Mac's built-in Airport Extreme card didn't pull in the signal very well. So, I tried using an older Cisco router set up as a wireless bridge. That pulled in more signal, but not by much. After installing this PCI card, and downloading and installing the Ralink software, this works great. The software shows the transmit/receive speed in realtime, and it was rather easy to setup. One suggestion I figured out... before setting up a wireless network in the software, FIRST turn off AND disable the Airport in System Preferences>Network Settings, and also disable your ethernet too. The software window is always there, so I just minimize it into the dock so it's out of the way. I suppose, if I played with it long enough, I could have figured out a way to install a better external WiFi antenna rather than the little "T" antenna that Apple used, but for the price, this PCI card worked great.Regarding the Ralink software, I just downloaded it from Ralink's website, which is now part of MediaTek I believe. Use the driver for PCI/RT2860, version 1.2.2.0. If I recall, after downloading, there are three folders with an installer in each for 10.3, 10.4, and 10.5. If you have to ask if there is a utility for later versions of OSX, then you shouldn't be buying this card. Intel Macs use PCIe cards, and Power PC macs can't run anything later than 10.5.One more thing. This card will receive the 2.4GHz band at full 300 Mbps if you set your router to transmit in 40MHz mode.

Doesn't work with Win 7
Hardware is fine, runs great w/ Linux driver.Tried 5 different drivers for Win 7, none of them work. For the price I expected Windows compatibility.

Poor coonection
I guess the old proverb you get what you pay for is true in this case. I was looking for a better or strong wireless connection than what I'm getting from my wireless USB sticks. But with this one it really doesn't work that well. Save your money and get something else. Also support is outdated.

Got it working in Ubuntu
I bought this to use on a Ubuntu 10.04 desktop. With a little help from tech support I was able to get this up and running. It connects right away and has worked great ever since.Support responded on the next business day and was very helpful. Here is the info they provided:Our EW-7722In uses Ralink RT3062 chipset.May I suggest you try the Linux driver on Ralink web site at[...]RT3062 driver is released on 12/17/2010 with version number 2.4.1.1.I used their Linux instruction for EW-7128Gn as it uses same chipset with EW-7722In

Low Quality
Product died after 90 days, I was not impressed by the quality of the card. No certified drivers, not a reliable product.

Allowed my to continue to use my old Windows XP klunker a bit longer
My previous wireless network adapter died and I was worried that there wouldn't be anything that still XP compatible to replace it.This adapter was not only compatible, but it works extremely well with my new router! Thanks!
