Tools for Complex Projects Hardcover – 28 February 2008

Sounded interesting. Sadly, a tough read and nothing new. A tool being a pretty standard approach you will find in any good method. For example; looking at something from another's view point. I was hoping for some good ideas and was disappointed. Spend you money else where. It is expensive.

I'm reading everything I can get my hands on about complex project management. This is the best of what's generally available. It does a very good job of describing the problem with traditional approaches, and the structural-technical-directional-temporal complexity framework is helpful. But only four stars because I find the solution tools only moderately useful, it's not as good as military research in this area, and it's way over-priced.
