I like that I have the book and when I’m ready to start a new art quilt it will be waiting for me.

So inventive, you can do anything kind of quilting tips, step by step, your friends and family will be impressed with how great a quilter you are.

This is a thorough book, missing no detail about Gail Garber's interesting quilting methods. I was signed up for a class which was canceled so I ordered her book and think I could become quite proficient at this. It is so creative. The trick is to use this creativity to make designs of your own and her detailed methods will make this much easier.

I took a 2 day class from the author, Gail Garber. The book is a must to have if you like her free form techniques.

Since I love flying geese, I ordered the book. I absolutely love it. Gail makes the instructions easy to understand. The quilts in the book are fabulous, but I have to say that seeing them in person is the way to go.I *knew* that some of them seemed familiar to me, so I went digging through my flickr account. I saw a collection of Gail's work in Chama, NM in 2007.I'm THRILLED to be able to understand how she "does that" in simple language that I can understand! :)Buy the book. Well worth it!

The book was either "new" or "like new" and it was like that when it promptly arrived well packaged. I knew what thebook was, as I have taken a quilting lesson from the author. I love the book, it is colorful, to the point with many details,you can follow every detail and make a project and it is also challenging for the person that wants something differentand wonderful. I will order from this seller again.

Gail Garber has provided the inspiration for my next step in creating something new and truly excited. I had the ideas, the desire, but not the know how. The author has provided photos with detailed 'patterns' on how to fashion a quilter's design into reality. The book is full of photos and how tos for diagraming any picture. I would recommend this book for anyone who has wanted to branch out, but needed that extra encouragement.

One of the better written books.

I liked the book and the teaching of creating freeform shapes, the directions are clear and there is encouragement of new ideas and creations of your own.

The book is exactly what I wanted, I just don't like the paper - print-on-demand is new to me, I suppose it prevents over-production, but if I'm paying what is quite a high price, I expect a quality item. The book arrived promptly, and well packaged as usual.

Total inspirierend, ich werde bestimmt noch in diesem Jahr einen selbst designten Quilt nach diesen Anleitungen nähen.Buch in englischer Sprache, aber durch viele Bilder und Zeichnungen bestens zu verstehen. Grundkenntnisse im Nähen auf Papier sollten vorhanden sein.

Flying Colors is a book of technique of curved flying geese which I am enjoying to master the art of stitching . So to u I say thank u very much for stocking the book. I may be interested if another book was published . M.Elsie.Stewart .

I have always loved flying geese but lacked the confidence to design my own quilts and wall hangings incorporating swooping curves of geese. Having read this book from cover to cover (unusual for a craft book!) I now have that confidence.
