Of One Mind: The Logic of Hypnosis, The Practice of Therapy

Of One Mind
The opaque title doesn't do the book justice. This is a seminal piece about consciousness, change, and the possibilities for each individual to reframe and rewrite his place in the world and his experience of happiness and self worth. Are there people who would not be attracted to these opportunities?UPDATE: Seven years and hundreds of cases later, the title is no longer opaque to me. I first understood it in a classic Eureka moment. A client began to weep during trance, and I found myself weeping at the exact same moment. It rocked my world (and hers too). Her lifelong tinnitus vanished after a single session, and remains gone. Similar experiences have occurred with increasing frequency of late, and have become a new normal. This has brought me both personal joy and measurably improved efficacy as a hypnotherapist.

Decent book on Hypnosis and Therapy
Not a new theory of Hypnosis as the author suggests, but a fairly good contribution. Includes theory and examples. Thanks.

Quite brilliant.
Strictly speaking this isn't a book about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. It's more about the systemic principles behind problem formation and resolution which also lay behind hypnotherapy and successful psychotherapy. The writing is quite clear and the explanations are comprehensive, and the theoretical and practical ideas as exemplified are profound.
