Works great, very easy set up.
I love this switch! I bought a second unit because the first one worked great and allowed me to control devices in another room. I have one connected to an exhaust fan and the other to a dehumidifier. I can now control each from my Android phone. With the addition of a camera, I can easily see and control the conditions without having to run into the room. Correct placement of the switch and I can bypass automatic temperature and humidity controls in an emergency. The clips for the wires were a little confusing and i didn't use them on the first switch. I thought they were garbage because they didn't hold the wire tight. When the second switch arrived, my nephew showed me that I was not opening the clips all the way. From that point it took us under a minute to strip wires and connect to my phone. That simple. Setting up schedules are a little grueling and the app definitely could be better. But it works and with time and creativity you can accomplish most anything. (48 entries for an action every half hour).

Mixed feelings
Easily installed works with incandescent bulbs well. Could not get it to work with led fixture. Help line did not recognize model number.

I wish all electronics worked this well
I installed this 20 ft up in the air - so was reeeeaaaallllyyyyy hoping it worked well / was easy to use. It didn't disappoint - the Smart Life app picked it up instantly and a few minutes later I had some automation running to turn it on at dusk and off dawn.Glad it picked this one for a hard wired smart switch.

Works great
Many thanks to the posters that set up these to turn on their pool lights and provided pics. I spent a week trying to figure out how to get a small Wi-Fi switch in a standard size switch box and then saw these examples.

Could not get it to work. It kept tripping the GFCI on the circuit.
I could not get this to work. It kept tripping the GFCI on the circuit. Installation was easy and the setup looked pretty straight forward if it ever got power before tripping the GFCI.

Great once it's set up, but documentation not super
Does what I needed, which is to control an outside light. The app is flexible, and works with a bunch of other devices, although it doesn't appear to support any kind of dimming. Couple "gotcha's" in the setup: Most notably, the device is only 2.4GHz WIFI. If your home WIFI is the same name for both 2.4 and 5, you may need to turn off 5GHz while you pair this device (if you have "myhome" and "myhome-5", just make sure your connecting to "myhome" and it'll work). The app sends special packets over the network you're connected to, that the device will see even if it isn't connected, as long as it shows up on 2.4GHz.In the event of a power-outage, the device seems to default to ON, rather than off, or the last state. In my case this perfectly acceptable, but in some situations probably isn't ideal. My only other complaint is none of these devices are UL approved, as others have said, but that testing is very expensive and time-consuming.I'm happy overall, and will likely be getting some other components to control other devices.
