The value of this book to me is its total subversity. Bruno's complex minimalism and cutting edge logic reveals the contemporary imposters who sentenced Bruno to be burnt at the stake. A celelebration. This book will open doors which unlock individual timeless memories. Playful, erotic, fantastic. For me: small doses.

Translation is garbage. Is however not something that makes this book uninteresting. Is still compelling and interesting book. But kind of had a feel of being something you'd check out of a high school library and read. Definitely not authoritative.

This is a book I have been longing to read, but until this clear, careful translation I never had the opportunity. It may appear to be an arcane topic but the useful qualities of the method for memory set out in this book are simply sublime and quite applicable. This book makes the technique available to everyone and I bow in hommage to the author.

Overall good read. Hard to believe it is a simplified version of anything. Great concepts for the retention of many things.

De Umbris Idearum is the key to the thinking of Giordano Bruno. This is the first English translation, and it is an excellent clearly written work. The translator, Scott Gosnell has worked miracles in getting this book into intelligible modern English. This book is indispensable for anybody interested in the work of Bruno, or in Renaissance occult philosophy.

BRILLIANT WORK.

The bubble plastic wrapping it came in was amazing. I should have ordered it on Febuary 17th. I like looking at the pictures on the cover. It's nice. Reminds me of Febuary 17th 1600s.

This book contains a method for strengthening and enhancing your memory capacity so you can remember multiple things through using this system. Excellent. After all, if you can't remember things efficiently it really doesn't matter how many occult books you read you won't retain the information. Book arrived on time and in good condition.
