Morpho: Skeleton and Bone Reference Points: Anatomy for Artists (Morpho: Anatomy for Artists, 3)

Morpho is a wonderful resource for independent and self-taught artists. It’s curated, thoughtful, and highly useful. The topic of the book is very well addressed from the foundation of the concept on up.

The content is fantastic. The price is good. However, it's difficult to keep the book open while re-drawing the drawings in the book. It was also surprisingly small, it's exactly the size of my hand, 7''. I understand that it is more economical to sell it in this format, but if you consider the long term use of the book as a reference, it really needs to be a little bigger, another 2'' would make a big difference and be worth an additional $2 price increase.

This is the fourth book I've bought in the morpho series and my goodness its just as wonderful as the other three. Great reference while also teaching you so much. This morpho series is THE series for learning artists and advanced artists. I was nervous about purchasing these books for at least 2 years and those nerves were my utlimate down fall for not improving as much as I could have. This book is better than Bridgman,Hogarth, Loomis and Hampton's books. The only negative is there are no gesture drawing techniques in the morpho series, yet.

Pocket sized reference book perfect for artists. Please note the binding is purposefully exposed to allow for the book to lay completely flat and open.

It was very helpful for my anatomy drawing class.

The pages will partially detach from the spine within a few minutes of use. Other than that, the information is stellar. Kind of wish there was more organization to it, though; the table of contents is pretty bare. Really, though, you can’t go wrong with getting this.

This is a great series for artists who do portrait work. I bought all of the series!

El libro es muy práctico para aprender en el camino, a pesar de ser pequeño el texto es claro al igual que sus instrucciones y ejemplos. Concuerdo con varias opiniones de aquí que dicen que la pasta es muy frágil, pero un poco de pegamento blanco lo arregla, a mi parecer no es una gran falta por la calidad del libro.

The cover is a little marred but that’s fine, I’m more annoyed that the spine of the book isn’t glued. Other than that it’s pretty handy.

Indispensable ouvrage de référence sur le dessin & esquisse du systeme osseux.Celui ci c'était un pari difficile pour l'auteur , car ce type des ouvrages abondent. Mais l'auteur reussit a produire un ouvrage compact et bourré de solutions qui sont de grand interêt aussi bien au dessinateur débutant qu'au vétéran

Very informative and helpful, good range of visual representation of the different pov and sketch process. I will be buying the other books in the series
