A Great Psychological Thriller-not family friendly
Nora Roberts books make the best movies. This is a good one. A psychological thriller and some romance. Not for kids or the squeamish or the prudish. You have been warned.

Great mystery
I love this movie. I’ve watched it numerous times and enjoy it each and every time. I. The actors are believable as is the storyline. The setting is gorgeous! And I’m getting ready to watch it now…

good casting
This is one of my favorite Nora Roberts books and although no movie can ever be as good as the book I was surprised by this movie. I was a bit scared at the thought of Heather Locklear playing Reese, seeing on how that she is in her early 40's now (I think), but more so because she did not really fit the physical description of Reese in the book. However, I was surprised at her acting and found that I liked her as Reese a lot. Johnathon Schaech as Brody was absolutely PERFECT! He is an extremely good looking guy and was great as the brooding Brody, although unfortunately they did not incorporate that aspect of him in the movie as he was in the book. Still, he was a great choice for the role. Of course I do think the movie could of been better had they not of cut so much out of it but still, for a 90 or so minute television movie its pretty good. If you are a hardcore Nora Roberts fan and hate to see anything cut of movies that were in the book then you may not like this adaptation, still, its entertaining and full of beautiful people who's acting skills are better than expected.

The Movie Did Not Disappoint!
One of the first Nora Roberts' books I ever read. The movie did not disappoint. Acting was good, scenery superb (a true "sense of place"), and though the flashbacks might seem confusing or annoying to people who did not read the book, overall, the effect supported the plot. I have read the book more than once and would probably watch the movie again just for some good entertainment.

I do love this movie. I have found it on YouTube a long time ago but it is no longer there so of course I had to buy the movie to add it to my collection.

Everyone is a stranger at first glance so give them a chance, something special can happen.
I loved this movie. Heather Locklear does a great job with a stressful and painful role with the things she saw and experienced. Plus she could really cook. Made you hungry looking at the tasty things she made.
