Well made and compact
I got this for my adult son, he and his family does a lot of camping. When he opened up he was very surprised and pleased with the items which were packed in the pot with the lid. The best was the tea pot which he thought it was a cool item to have at the camp site.

Good pots, horrible utensils.
This is a good starter set for camping. It has some great pieces and it’s sturdy. Everything was really easy to clean and transport. The horrible part about this set is the silverware. They fold in half for convenience, however, the fold cripples in the same direction as the force you have to use to scoop up food! Every time we tried to use the fork to cut steak or to the spoons to scoop things, the utensils just folded in half. We ended up buying other utensils because these just wouldn’t work. If I hadn’t already used everything else in the set, I would return these for something else.

Perfect for family of 5 camping.
Family of 5 with three kids from ages 2 to 12. We exclusively use this set during our camping trips and have never had any issues with cooking full meals throughout the day. We would like a bigger kettle but for the compativeness of the whole set, we cannot complain. The silverware collapses when too much pressure is applied (used it to cook and tried to flip something a bit heavy) but never collapsed when used for eating so it's not really a complaint as I've seen in other reviews. Easy to clean and compact back together. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

Great cookware set.
This set is really nice and complete. It has cups, plates, silverware and cooking pot, frying pan and water kettle with pouring spout. Covers are also included with cloth cleaning towels. Well engineered and fabricated from either stainless steel or anodized aluminum. Light weight, yet large enough to cook 4 servings at a time. All packs up in a convenient nylon, drawstring style sack. Good price and good quality. We will use this set for years to come.

The thin coating on the frying pan was sort of a deal-breaker
This is a nice-looking and compact mess kit. However, the metal is very thin and the non-stick coating is VERY thin - the manufacturer really skimped on the coating - especially for the most important piece - the flying pan. After making scrambled eggs, I had to soak the pan for hours and scrap everything off with a plastic pan scraper. Very hard to clean!Other than that, I was satisfied with the rest of the kit - especially like the tea-pot and the folding spoons and forks. The cups are small, like kids' cups, but I can live with that. For the quality of this kit, I feel it was a bit overpriced at $50. More like a $30 value, imo.

Great First Impression
My first impression of this mess kit is awesome just what i was looking for! I wanted an upgrade from a small backpacking mess kit to a full size kit for my overland/car camping trips and this is perfect! The pot and pan are hefty and solid built yet still lightweight compared to home pots and pans, feels like they can take the abuse of offroading. overall extremly satisfied with my purchase and i plan to update review in the future. Cheers happy adventuring!

Performed as advertised!
After first camping trip and cooking on Coleman propane grill, I must say I am impressed at how well the frying pan cleaned up. I, new to cooking on Coleman grill, seared my steak too much, too fast. Due to cooking on too high heat the steak cooked to the pan. I was expecting it to take much effort to clean the pan, however, all I have to do was put about 1/2 inch of water in the pan and let it soak 10 minutes. I then poured the water out, took a soft spatula and removed the burnt-on meat off to pan - no problem! A far as durability, I let you know in 6 months . . . .
