Thank God for Amazon!
I waited over an hour in Lowes just to get assistance. (Half hour before I could find somebody & another half hour after they announced, on the PA, for someone to come to the aisle.) That was my second trip there since during my first trip, I could not find anyone to help after about 40 minutes. I brought the items I needed to fit. The rep wasted another 25 minutes of my time to tell me that they did not carry them. He wrote down what he said I needed to find. Everything was wrong. Solid product, good NPT threads
Used them to add a fuel tank and electric pump to an antique truck. Put the tank on the outside of the frame, and hid the pump inside the frame, so I used a one of these along with a couple 90* barbs to pass the fuel line through the frame wall.Good formed threads, and actually are proper NPT threads...not a metric thread that's "close enough". 100% happy.

Used it to mount remote air chuck on my jeep bumper. Picture is right before making the hole bigger . You get the idea. The cover is called a Sherman cap.
