Must have for people pursuing CISSP exam.

A very detailed book.

I did so much of research before buying this book. I was in dilemma of which one to go,. Official book or Shon Harris. This 1200 pages gigantic book was my sole preparatory source. It did help me pass the exam.Having said that this book wasn't a easy read. I did review the official book but this is not a easy read,. It is long and so deep and theory. But those things helped me think conceptually during the exam. Don't look anywhere else,. Just go for this. If you are really serious about becoming CISSP.

I'll preface this by saying this was the only book and resource I used and I passed first time - so clearly it does work.Having said that, I found the extended question bank on the CD ROM to be quite outdated.As an example, there are countless questions relating to the Orange Book and the A1-C3 valuation ratings.Doing a control-f for these in the PDF it soon becomes clear there's no reference to any of this at all - and that they are all outdated (now it's the Common Criteria with the EAL1-7 rating).This is just one example but there are others too.I feel I wasted some time learning the answers to those questions. So my advice is ignore the CD ROM and focus on the question bank in the book itself.If I were to do it all again, I would perhaps purchase the official ISC(2) question bank.

Used it for my CISSP exam but I do think is more useful for reference after the exam.Extensive and comprehensive and with a nice amount of tests in the CD

It help me to pass the CISSP & CRISC exam, very clear and a lot of referencing topics. Another good shopping.
