Knife King

A previous review complained about rust, mine had alittle too, but really it's high carbon & damascus so um yep it will happen. I cut my emery board(for smoothing a woman's nails) in half and buffed it off. Yep not a biggie at all! The knife worked to baton a decent sized piece of hickory for the fireplace. I check the blade often & it was still super sharp! I anticipate it still being a great knife the more I use it. If you have a problem with rust don't buy high carbon or damascus. I clean mine with flitz the first time, wipe it down with wd40"specialist" (1yr protectant) & then rub the whole knife and sheath down with a oil & beeswax blend I make. Take care of your gear, and it will take care of you!

Its a rough Damascus material, that is light in the hand. I think Bowie knifes have weight to deliver more damage on impact. I wouldn't buy this knife, if I had the opportunity to feel before purchase, it would have never been bought by me.

I have had this knife for around two weeks it was nice, fit and finish were good. I took it camping this last weekend and went to baton a some wood and the blade bent about an inch from the end. I have straighten it out some but is still has a wavy look to the blade.

The leather sheath is very bulky and the rivets have rust, As well as the knife's handle has rust the blade was pretty poorly sharpened and the point was rounded,but for a camp knife that you don't care about too much it does the trick.

Nice heavy duty knife. Blade is about 8&1/2" long and about 1/4" thick. Very sharp

One of the sharpest knives I've ever owned! Well made & heavy built....very well built.Great hunters knife & a great knife to have at slandering time.

Knife did not last one use. Edge rolled over. There was no heat treat done to the knife.

Just a lovely knife....good for so many things....I used it today to slice a bottom round roast.....like butter!
