I've been using this product for at least 2 years at the advice of my hairdresser. I have fine hair strands that tend to curl in an ugly limp way if left to dry on its own. I use no more than the size of a pea in my palm and work it completely through all of my wet hair after shampooing then blow dry it with a round brush. My hair ends up having fullness, lift, shine and smoothness. It used to frizz up in humid weather and the frizzies have vanished. I would recommend this product, but for fine hair, chin length, use no more than pea size. It won't weigh your hair down or make it oily. I have 100% gray hair and it brings out a nice shine.

I love this product for my hair.It allows me to get a comb through my knots, and leaves it feeling soft and shiny.

I love this conditioner. For me, it has completely helped my hair regain its softness, it's luster. Maybe do to age? or dryness? or hormones? my hair began to feel course, not as manageable. This has rejuvenated my hair and now I can't be without it.

I have fine, dry, color treated hair that is thinning as I get older. Experts advise keeping after-shampoo conditioning products off the scalp, applying from the mid-shaft to the ends only in order to get lift and volume. This is difficult, if not impossible to do if your hair is fine, thin and shorter or layered. I now shampoo my hair and skip the cream rinse/conditioner completely. Instead, I wrap my soaking wet hair in a Turbie Twist right out of the shower without any combing or brushing (which ALWAYS rips out some hair, regardless). After 10-20 minutes, I remove the towel and gently shake out my hair, which is 50-75% dry by then. I then squeeze a small amount of Alterna Caviar CC Cream out into the palm of one hand and rub my hands together to spread out the cream. I can then easily apply the cream to only the ends of my hair. I usually apply a little to the front, too, since that's the area that takes the most heat & stress when styling. I then use a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle my damp hair starting at the ends and working up to the scalp in small sections. The CC cream makes this so easy and painless and helps with styling and shine as well. I then apply any other products I like to style my hair (heat protectant, root lift, volume mousse, etc.).

They smell great and leave my hair silky. I have recommended to my friends as well.

This really makes my hair manageable!!!

The formula has changed. It is not as dense as it was before. Also, the tube is a different size, but still says 3.4 oz. The goop seems to work as before.
