Great alarm
Good alarm. Takes a couple hours to install. If you’re not experienced in wiring car radios and such I’d suggest watch some videos first then find a wire diagram of your car. I looked up 98 mustang alarm wires ( my car ) and found where the wires needed and what colors they were. I’ve installed a lot of electrical stuff in cars. First alarm and the only problem I had was I had to swap a positive and negative for my door locks cause they were backwards Making the alarm armed when it was unlocked which was incorrect on the info I found not sellers. Easy fix and it works great. Didn’t get trunk release to work but I haven’t fiddled with it yet cause it not extremely important to me

Unacceptable automatic rearm
This is review of "BANVIE Car Security Alarm System with Microwave Sensor & Shock Sensor".One star off for unacceptable automatic rearm "feature". If you disarm system with remote, it will automatically rearm 25 seconds later, if no door is opened or ignition turned on. This could be a option feature, but default ON is not appropriate, and no option to disable is not acceptable. If I push "unlock" on the remote, system should stay unlocked until I push "lock" on the remote, NOT rearm itself. I found a sort of workaround: I added a dashboard switch, to switch ACC signal (white wire) to battery voltage, to hold system disarmed, while still allowing remote to lock and unlock doors.-System performs as advertised for all functions tested. As noted in other reviews, the installation challenge is primarily locating and tapping into the appropriate vehicle wires. Including considerations for routing wires through the firewall, between engine compartment and passenger area. Suggest ensure you are able to locate and tap into required wires before ordering unit.-My installation was for a vehicle with added door lock actuators "Universal Car Power Door Lock Actuators" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CZBQCR2/ Consider how to physically route wires from door to vehicle interior. The appropriate wiring for this type is "Positive and negative triggering" as indicated by the included installation schematics. Other options are available for vehicle with OEM door lock activators.-I attached the included shock sensor to the dashboard metal frame with one screw. At maximum sensitivity it is extremely sensitive, responding to quiet sharp noises outside vehicle. Easy to adjust sensitivity to appropriate for environment.-I set microwave sensor to maximum sensitivity, and positioned it centered in front console area. It activates when body enters car and doesn't activate to bodies outside of car.Siren is not terribly loud, and it makes reasonably loud sound mounted in engine compartment facing down. Output sounds are various communication chirps as well as multi-mode sound variations upon alarm activation.-Remote control units feel good quality and activate system from considerable distance. If armed with "silent" button, disarming is likewise silent. Else arm / disarm is indicated by chirp patterns. The "trunk open" button could be used for any arbitrary function you wire that output (red/black wire) to.

There are better options for the price. Avital 3100
First off the unit had been previously used or returned. As one of the remotes is obviously worn and not working. Also. Unit is defective, as it pulsates a single siren sound rather than full constant siren with 6 sounds. Goes off at random, is quite annoying. I received a replacement that was new and still have the problem of it going off for no reason. My vehicle has no charging problems , thus there is no reason for the alarm to siren at random. Im not going to return it again but I’m replacing with an Avital 3100. A lesson learned, stick with an established quality alarm company. Avital/Viper
