This is great for adding whammy effects or changing the tuning of your bass or electric guitar.I play a lot of Rocksmith, and the songs I like to play are all over the place for tunings. This allows me to save my strings and avoid premature dead spots. When coupled with a Hipshot running peg, I can easily switch between standard E and any other tuning plus a drop on the low E string. Some songs go down to C# standard on a four string bassI haven't actively used the whammy effects much, but it has the ability to set the target note (by an offset, like third or fifth) to bend to on one side, or target harmonies on the right side. This can provide many interesting effects.One other way I use the whammy side is to set it to fourth on the harmonies and bend my pitch for some sharp tunings, like Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun or Queen's Far Bottom Girls. It saves me from tuning each string sharp and having to immediately retune for the next song.This comes with a wall power adapter, which is nice because the power draw didn't work with my current pedal power strip. The control pedal is nice but could be improved if it could have an activation and momentary switch-- I still have to reach for the actual pedal if I want to use those functions.The included patch cables are good quality.This pedal had many other features I don't use, such as the ability to be controlled via midi and changing how the bypass works.Cons:For the tuning adjustment side:- The further you get from your actual guitar tuning, the more likely you will have to do minor adjustments in tuning. Sharp/flat are amplified. These are relatively minor, and only really apply to the sensitivity of the Rocksmith software.- The quieter your setup, the more likely you are too hear dissonance between your guitar's actual tuning and what the pedal produces. I don't play with headphones, and sometimes my speakers are quieter than I'd like because of family and neighbors.This is my favorite pedal!

This pedal is great! Not only does it do whammy effects and harmonies, it has a great chorus effect and transposing is very good. The transposing part is separate of all the other effects. There's even a momentary with for the transposition. Like all pitch shifting effects, if you deviate too far from the original pitch you may get some artifacts (strange sounds) while playing chords. This would only happen if you start approaching an octave up or down. Well made and the addition of the remote control pedal is a back saver!

So far works great. Quick detune and whammy for a fixed bridge. Pretty much will be added with my wah and volume pedal on a pedal board.

I have been wanting one of these for a while. It was nice to see a combo package with the additional foot switch.It’s a solid build for both boxes.The only downside is that the patches they provide aren’t stereo so the additional foot switch doesn’t work properly with them.I had to research the issue which is an easy fix.Just use a stereo cable instead of mono and then the switch works perfectly.It took a few minutes to research it so that was a bummer. But once I used the correct cable I was off to the races.I definitely recommend this setup for your arsenal.

One of the coolest pedals I’ve ever used! I was having some issues when I first turned it on. In the toe-up position (OFF) The pitch was higher or lower depending on the setting. Obviously, that’s a problem if neutral is REALLY the 1st or 2nd gear. I finally figured out that I need to calibrate it. After that, it worked amazing. Honestly might be the most fun I’ve ever had with guitar pedal.
