The first lock I ordered didn’t work, but we got a replacement and it worked perfectly! Seller was very easy and professional to communicate with and offered a resolution that exceed what I anticipated. I would absolutely recommend ordering from this seller.

I have not put the key hide away to use yet. But, it is sturdy, easy to use, and I feel like my key will be safe.

This lock is easy to use to store a spare key near my door. Most anywhere else outside my door gets buried in snow in the winter.

I bought this product because of a concern that I might lose my key someday; I want a way to get into my house without calling a locksmith if that happens. I just received it, put a key inside, and installed it. So far so good.On the plus side, it's easy to use and to set and reset - once you know how to do it. I'm taking off one star though because the directions for setting and resetting it are in tiny print, poorly written, and difficult to understand.There are, though, some good videos on Youtube showing how to set it. So it's not hard to find out. (The company might want to upload their own video with similar directions, give it a simple URL and provide a link to on the little direction sheet.)I was disappointed to learn after buying it that it's not waterproof, and that some people have reported rust on both the box and keys inside, and corrosion on the metal box from the moisture. It rains a lot here, so that would be problematic. I'm still keeping it, but will be watching for possible problems.One other issue to be aware of is its size. No points off for this one, because I should have checked the size more carefully before buying it. But I was hoping it would be large enough for a car key with an attached fob; it isn't. It's fine for small house keys though.

Lately I’ve been locking myself out of the house. The last time was the final straw. I was taking the trash out & managed to twist the door knob somehow that it engaged the lock. It was cloudy, the temperature was high 30s and starting to rain and right at sunset to boot! I didn’t even put on a jacket because it was supposed to be a quick trip to the trash can. No phone, no keys and the cat sitting in the window looking at me with a look that said it all — now don’t you feel stupid! lolI had hidden a key outside but it was no longer there. This little hidden key case is perfect. It’s made to hang on the door but I had some decorative piping secured to the house & found I could latch it to that and it is hidden from view but still accessible. Of course, since buying this, I haven’t locked myself out since but at least I have a way in, just in case.

works great but only fits one regular key, you may wanna get a bigger model to get a car key in there
