Equisite Workmanship, Sparks Joy!
With Knipex, it's tough to go wrong. A premium price for a premium product, but worth it. I was looking at lots of other brands. None had the narrow really long bills that I really wanted, not had the quality, or the reviews to back them up. I spent $35 instead of $5 or $10, but these go in my primary tool tote, where I have a few other Knipex tools, which I will proudly use until the day I day. I will get joy every time I use these. As Marie Kando states, look for those things in life that "spark joy". These do that.Note that the tips touch first with just a slight bit of light visible along the shanks so that when you squeeze the handle they go flat with the tension at the tip. Perfection. Also note they don't have any spring mechanism. They move freely, yet without play. A spring could be nice when using them, but they they don't store right as they splay out, unless you add a locking mechanism, which adds complexity and has to be released every time one uses the tool. This way they store in a tool pouch, yet work freely enough where one won't miss the spring, and no locking mechanism to fumble with. The handles are nicely shaped so that they can be opened of closed with one hand. And the coating is not that absurdly thick crud that you see on many tools that will break down, looks like cr*p, and gets in the way when storing the tool.Knipex, highly recommended!

Excellent Small Needle nose for Wire Bending
Make sure you are purchasing this product for the intended purpose. This is not a gripping pliers. It has smooth jaws and a curved upper profile for smoothly bending small diameter wire. The quality, as always with Knipex tools, is superb. The jaws are perfectly aligned and finished. Excellent choice.

Love these pliers!
I'm a huge Knipex fan in the first place, because of the overwhelming quality and durability of their tools, so I'm probably a bit biased here.As with almost all Knipex products I have owned, these pliers are of tremendous quality. The fit and finish is some of the best that money can buy, as well it should be for the premium that you pay for Knipex products. The grips, as with all Knipex pliers of this line, are wonderful. They're long lasting and simple but effective. The length on these is particularly nice. They are both very thin and very long, enabling you to get into places that most standard 6" needle nose pliers simply won't go. Because they are made of high quality tool steel, you're able to use them without fear that the thinness has compromised their integrity or made them prone to breakage. I don't know if one could say that with other brands' extra-thin pliers, even the US-made ones.If you've not yet gotten a pair of long reach, thin needle nose, I suggest picking up a pair of these to fill the gap. They may run you twice what it costs for comparable tools from other manufacturers, but the difference in quality is worth it. In a tool with tips this small and long, not paying for quality is going to catch up with you later. Buy the best the first time out and never look back in regret! One last thing -these pliers don't seem to be stocked too well, so if you like them and they're in stock, best pick them up while you have the chance. After I got mine, it said the wait was 2-5 weeks. Ouch!

Quality tool
This is the first Knipex tool that I have owned. The have a great reputation and it seems well deserved.I did make a slight improvement though, I do jewelry and other metal work with silver, copper and pewter. I opened the pliers up and used a sanding block with 400 grit paper to smooth up the faces of the jaws of the pliers. They were rougher than I prefer for the work that I do. They aren’t advertised as being jewelers pliers, if they were they would be much smoother faces but a little bit of work and they will do just fine.Knipex products aren’t inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Cheap tools are not worth the price. A quality tool helps produce quality work.

Good size and precise
Good size and precise but not much holding power. Great for picking up or holding small items or getting in tight spaces but not for gripping tight. High quality built and excellent materials
