Perfect swimming tool to teach swimming lessons
I like that it works playful like a boat. So the children can have fun racing. It helps to practice the kick and to get a feeling of the buoyancy.

Our son loved this to help really use his legs for swimming
This really shows a young swimmer how better form and practice leads to success in the swimming pool. It’s helpful to build confidence and shows them the improvements they are making with that practice, much better than just kicking while holding onto the edge.

Best ever for teaching baby to swim
This is such a clever design for learning to swim. Saw another parent/child at the public pool with one and had to order right away for myself. Great product and shipped much faster that originally stated.

Great idea but poor quality control
My children's swim teacher has one similar to this and it was a wonderful tool for my 6 year old when he was learning to swim. Because we are quarantining, we decided to purchase this to help my 4 year old who is still learning to swim. Because there seem to be many of these items available at a similar price point, I would consider looking at other versions due to minor defects I detail below. If we had no other choice however, I would repurchase this simply because it has helped our 4 year old so much in enjoying the water and in being less fearful.PROS:My 4 year old has been very scared to get in the water deeper than the steps. While she has used other flotation devices, she has always needed an adult to hold her and the float and will only get off the step for a minute, if that. She loves this float. She calls it her scooter and it has helped her to leave the shallow step area and venture out where she cannot stand without a parent holding her. For now, she just lies on the netting area and holds on with her hands to the handlebars while she kicks her legs. Later, we will use this to help her stretch her hands out in front of her with straight arms (to practice putting her face in the water while she kicks). It is very stable and even when she is jumping around, has not tipped over. We have never left her unattended and would not do so, but I do feel comfortable letting her float and kick around on this while we are playing in the water without being as hyper-focused only on her at all times.CONS:The reason why I gave this item 3 stars only is because the quality of the product is poor. It arrived with one of the plastic clips holding the four ends of the netting into the tubing missing. No big deal as we just tied it on instead, but this will no longer be adjustable as my daughter grows. The handlebar has plastic caps on the ends which keep the water from entering the handlebar tubes. These do not stay on. Again, no big deal, but just annoying.

Amazing!
So helpful in swim training. Keeps child up at correct angle to kick feet properly. Our swim coach agrees this is a great learning tool.

This works!
My 3 year old granddaughter improved her kicking using this, with her legs much more horizontal. It’s just the right size, easy for little hands to hold onto.
