Not just for water!!
Great for patients who have a hard time drink water especially with Parkinson’s disease. My father has advancing Parkinson’s disease and he has a hard time drinking water. Without this thickener he’ll sometimes choke on his water and ends up going down the wrong pipe resulting in a coughing fit or losing his breath for a minute…. Ever since we’ve discovered this he hasn’t had any trouble drinking his water and other juices!

Costly but easy for on the go use.
Best thickener for my son''s lunch bag in case he needs more water when he's at his day program. I also use it with a camelback podium water bottle to regulate how much he can drink at a time. It's like a baby bottle ( but for adults) where he has to suck on it and it comes with a cap to keep the spout clean. Just wish the price was lower but you can't put a price on preventing aspiration and pneumonia.

easy to travel with
very compact thickening agent in that individual packet's amount required for 4 oz is a lot less than a competitor(thick and Easy)packets. Thicken up mixes in well too. easy to travel with. I have used thick & easy & u need a lot more powder to thicken drink & as a result, the mixing goes on & on. Have also used a liquid (different brand) & dont want to travel with that as it would likely be messy. The Thicken up is best so far & easiest for travel. Recommended!

Great Product
I buy these for my mother who has Parkinsons disease and these make it easy for her to put in her purse so she can go out to eat without worry concerning her issues with swallowing, before these she was embarrassed about her coughing when she tries to eat out, this product has given her freedom back..

Excellent and easy to use.
I used this product for my 90 year old father… It helps the water go down the throat properly.. It doesn’t have ant flavor which is nice…

Provides means for someone with dysphasia to have liquid safely
The product mixed well if placed in glass first. Clumps were found on bottom of glass generally. The product appeared to work its way up the esophagus after several hours - difficult to digest.

Perfect for travel
It allows me to drink water when we go out to dinner. The packets fit nicely into my pocket. In addition, they work great for traveling.
