Fantastic novel!
Here it is, the original Three Musketeers. Dumas brings to life the intricacy and every nuance that films have tried to copy since the dawn of film.Fantastic read!

One of the best I've ever had
I read this book growing up and decided to get a copy for my 11-year-old. He loves it and it has given us several topics for conversation. A great book for all.

Good for the value
These are cheap copies of classics but they damage very easily and the first one I ordered arrived water damaged. The quality is expected for the price

it's a wonderful story. Loved it
While at times disjointed in chronology, it's a wonderful story. Loved it. See my name. The book fills in many blank spots beyond the typical overview of the characters and times. Tom Clavin made extensive use of newspaper reporting of the times and it pays off.One lone missing angle and sadly overlooked at the the end of the book is Bat's time in New York City. His address coincides perfectly with that of "Satan's Circus", a roughly 20 by 5 block region, N to S, of NYC's mid west side. The area originally ran from 24th Street to 42nd Street and from Fifth Avenue to Seventh Avenue. By the turn of the 20th century, it had expanded northward to 57th or 62nd Street and west to Eighth Avenue encompassing parts of what is now the Flatiron District, NoMad,Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen, the Garment District and the Theater District.Read something about Satan's Circus and you'll see not only why Bat decided to give NYC a try but you'll see that areas of NYC at the turn of the 20th century were more hellbent and lawless than all the Kansas cowtowns wrapped up as one. Like to know more about Bat's doins in the area but could easily guess he had a good time.

It’s an excellent classic. I found it to be a page turner, in spite of some of the archaic language and length.
