Window Screen Filter Prevents Pollen And Dust From Entering Your Home

My house (and specifically my room) gets a load of dust and allergens constantly flying in as I live on a very busy street. I purchased this on a whim and found it very easy to stick to the inside of my current window screen after cutting to size and a quick wipedown of the screen border. The tape provided is surprisingly sticky and there was plenty for me. It sits snug between my screen and window now and doesn't catch when I open/close it. Do not expect to be able to see out of it well, but light will still get through just fine - I only have it on half my window so I don't mind. It really does work well, I have noticed none of the old black dust building up on the windowsill, and paired with an air purifier I can feel like I'm actually breathing fresh air again, and I don't have to dust my room nearly as much.

The screen is great if you live in an apartment that has a questionable bug screen installed and abused by past tenants. This screen provides me enough privacy while maintaining a good air exchange. It was a bit of figuring out how to install and this is where your common sense along with trial and errors will ensure proper placement. The package comes with enough tape so that you can take off and reposition without fear.

I bought this for an asthmatic relative. This screen filter helped block pollen and other irritants. It did not, however, block any of the smoke coming from a downstairs neighbor. Her window has to stay closed because of it. So, natural things were filtered, but not the smoke. I need to keep looking for another solution.

These work really well & allow me to have my windows open without worrying about my allergies. They are door size but can be cut down to fit a window. You will not get as much of a breeze coming through because of the tight weave but that is to be expected from cloth that can trap pollen size particles.

The tape that comes with it is amazing. I would buy it again just for the double sided tape.

I have tried a number of products to keep pollen out of my home while keeping the windows open. This is the best one I have found so far. Yes, it will restrict air flow. Anything that prevents most pollen from entering will decrease airflow. This product seems to be as effective as other filter materials with the least airflow reduction. I will be purchasing it for additional windows.

Reasons this product sucks1. It smells bad like lighter fluid. So if you put it on your window and wind blows through it the air entering your home will stink2. Cheap quality - it’s like the material used for diaper wipes only made into a huge sheet that you tape on your window with double sided tape.3. Flimsy making it difficult to install without looking like 💩4. Looks like crap as leave a hard to clean sticky residue5. Doesn’t seem to work because the material is too porous.6. You could make your own. Seriously, just go to a fabric store and by a sheet and some double sided tape and you will have something better looking, cheaper, less flimsy and doesn’t smell
