Very nice smelling powder.
The power smells wonderful it's really nice. I did have a problem opening it. It was a little hard to figure out, you have to unsnap the bottom plastic and lift with the ribbon on the top.

Great around the house scent.
I love to wear this Mon days that I don’t need my daily perfume.

I'm astounded.
The reviews here are baffling. I can't believe how many people don't know how to open the container of a box of powder with a puff! This is NOT some new design, this is how boxes of body powder have been made for generations. Some people complained that the ribbon "handle" pulled right off when they pulled on it. Others complained that their powder box didn't have a ribbon "handle" at all. I can appreciate that the manufacturer might be leaving the ribbons off now, for the simple reason that so many people are confused by it! Spoiler alert: It's NOT a handle! The box opens by holding the cylinder by its sides, giving a slight twist to get it started, and lifting the entire cylinder up. Helpful hint - use both hands. One to hold the box by the bottom rim and the other to lift off the sides and top all in one piece. I can't believe that people are actually cutting their way into the box! Egad.As for the product itself, it has a light floral scent, but if it's Lily of the Valley it's very vaguely Lily of the Valley. It smells more like a mix of florals rather than one note, and I don't recognize Lily of the Valley in there at all. It's an OK fragrance, but it smells fairly generic to me, and definitely not upscale. It also seems to fade quickly once applied. Generally I can still notice the scent of body powders for at least several hours, but this one faded almost immediately. That said, it is still talc, and very smooth and silky on the skin. Much moreso than, say, cornstarch based products. But class action suits against Johnson & Johnson for alleged cancer caused by use of their talcum powder has resulted in many manufacturers discontinuing use of talc in body powder (it's still used in many other cosmetics), even though after much scientific research and numerous studies, the results have been inconclusive and there has never been any definitive proof that asbestos contamination in the talc has actually ever caused gynecological cancers. But if you want to avoid talc, don't buy this one.

You might be opening it wrong
The media could not be loaded. Lily of the Valley smells like 1985 grandma's bathroom. Shell shaped soap you can't use, and wallpaper. It's pretty strong for a body powder although it doesn't announce your presence to the world before you walk into a room. It's pleasant once it's simmered down a bit. Don't use a lot or you're going to be that yucky smelling girl/woman at school, work, or the check out line for coffee that everyone opens their eyes wide to in order to silently announce -Does everyone else smell that?I have very sensitive skin and it makes my skin burn a bit. I passed it on to a friend.Watch video if you want to know how to open this.

Horrible waste of money
If I could give it at no star I would! Opened package and could see powder in box and on the outside of the container so I gently took top off and powder was all over side wall and puff pad the lid inside of container had come off and was spilling out. Container was not full only filled about half way. Not worth the money I do not recommend!
