I need for sweeping with short broom . Need the metal support on tip joint for that .Immobilise the finger but support the broom.Also for text msg on phone. As finger is crooked at joint tip . Actually made it more accurate..Don’t buy this one size if lady with small , or skinny hands . I amSize XL lady . Average but broad hands . Big wrists ( wide hand . ) just fits perfect . Not for ladies with slender or small hands .The silicone is nice warm. But can be bought separately .For me support index finger with sweeping .

The splint arrived marked L on the packet but R on the info sheet, fortunately it was R which is what I wanted. I found getting the velcro to the correct position was quite difficult but once done it's working really well. I have trigger finger in my middle finger and the pain was getting v hard to cope with. This splint keeps the finger straight which has helped a lot. Once I take it off the pain comes back but this splint gives me a good break from it.I have found a compromise position with the velcro, it's secure enough to keep my finger straight but I can simply slip the splint off when I want to. I couldn't do the re-fixing every time I wore it.

No INSTRUCTIONS INCLOSED IN THIS PRODUCT. NOT A GOOD START..... Had to go on line to find out how to use this appliance, found it to be ill fitting. The palm part moves about, and doesn't stop under the band that goes round the hand. It slips about , could do with a fastening on this, and also another fastening on the lower part of the finger to give it more support.The only good thing included are the finger comfort tubes you can wear to give more comfort, but again NO INFO ABOUT WHY YOU HAVE TWO , AND WHY THE SIZE DIFFERENCE.I'm not that pleased with my purchase, but because I've used it , I will have to keep it.

Very comfortable for using

I don't leave reviews normally as I haven't the time, but this finger support is great! Having fractured my middle finger, the usual strapping it to the next didn't provide any comfort or protection. I needed something more substantial. This brilliant little silicone sleeve is perfect and although initially I was worried it would hurt when I put it on, it was fine - infact, it was relieving. It's much better than using cotton pads or swabs. The blue cover is brilliant as it doesn't need to be strapped tight on the finger as, in my case, this would have been over the fracture itself. It has metal underneath and so keeps the limb immobile and safe - it's ace! I'll be buying another now

The product description mentioned left & right hand but the packaging stated Right Hand so I wasn't sure I could use it. It took some time to figure out how to wear it on my left hand but it wasn't straight forward, and I had to keep repositioning it. Otherwise, it was okay and did the job. However I bought a single finger splint from the chemist that was easy to put on. I still used this one as it was more supportive and then used the single one when my finger was less painful
