Invacare9000 XT High Performance Lighter Weight Wheelchair, With Desk Length Arms, 20" Seat Width, 9XT_33131, Black Satin

I purchased this model to replace my original (same model) wheelchair, that was purchased in 1987 after I lost both my legs in an accident. The old chair really lasted longer than I expected. The only thing I replaced was the seat one time. I suspect this new chair may outlast me, but I’m going to give it one hell of a try to wear it out!RC

The picture I share is a SpinLife chair, NOT Invacare. SpinLife told me their seat is 18 inches across. It is not. Invacare DOES have proper measurements. Almost as good as my first Invacare chair. Took forever to find them. If I could change the arms to something other than the cheap vinyl, I would. They already were cracking by 8 months in (use). Definitely buy a seat cushion to be more comfortable.

I received my wheelchair in a box in that was badly damaged. I gave it the benefit of the doubt at opened it. We got it out and I got in it at the time didn’t see any issues. When I went to propel it i noticed that part of my hand thing on my wheel was missing. About 2foot. My son looked in the box and found about 1foot of it. I don’t know where or when it was damaged but I am returning it.

Very comfortable, easy to maneuver, folds easily and rolls freely. Well constructed. Came fully assembled except for leg rests, which are easy to add. I work in healthcare, this is a very sturdy, well constructed wheelchair!

I received it and it was broken. In all fairness, it was easy to return through UPS but it made me hesitant to buy any large ticket items of big size through Amazon again.

I've dried several brands of wheelchairs and this is the only brand and model that seems to make her completely comfortable.

It's a nice wheelchair, but it's noisy, squeaks and grinds along - has since day one. It serves its purpose, but I won't be getting another.If my wife goes to bed before me, it'll sometimes wake her up as I come to bed.
