These plates were sturdy enough to use in a buffet line and looked attractive on the tables. Also, they are compostable which is a big plus!

This was our first year hosting my husband's ENORMOUS extended family (45 people) and we tried to be a little more conscious of the environmental impact of that many plastic plates, cups, utensils, and table cloths.These plates held up to proper Thanksgiving portions (overflowing), they stood up to cutting and soggy side dishes, and we will definitely use them again!

Used this for my daughter's birthday. They're sturdy, and durable, no need to double up on plates here. The thickness was perfect, and the color was on theme. They didn't look like those cheap plates. A little pricier than I wanted, but worth the money.

Reading the reviews I thought they would be a bit sturdier/heavy duty. I compared them to the white Chinet brand plates and they were about the same as far a bending and have a similar feel. They are very attractive with the gold chevron pattern around the edge. I will use them for my sandwich and salad lunch, but probably not for the dinner.

These were relatively expensive, but with our important casual occasion we liked especially that they were sturdy, elegant - and bio-degradable! I would recommend them for those reasons!
