Doesn't work
I bought this pen with white (oil paint) ink because I needed to write on a dark background. This is not a pen that just writes. The cap must be removed, the pen shaken, the writing tip pointed upward, then depressed into the body of the pen to absorb the ink. The instructions are clear, and I followed them to the letter, but the pen would not put ink to paper. Maybe the one I received was a dud, and the rest of them work, but I would never buy this pen again or recommend others buy it.

Easy to use
I like this marker for hiding the numbers on the paint by number kits.. for the light paint.I do find at times I need to cover the number more than once... But it is a good product.

Tip wont stay in.
This is a decent idea for a paint pen, which I needed to write on vacunm tubes what the tube was so can easily identify them without straining the eyeballs. Theres is a dismal amount of paint in these pens, plus when I shake the pen the felt end came out. I have a medium tip pen that doesnt do that but it quite large on the tip for writing on some small tubes. Needs way more paint in these pens. Going to see if there is another brand besides Sharpie.

They write neatly and don’t bleed as much as the thicker tipped markers.
I use this marker to write on stainless steel. It writes good and once it is dry even if water or coolant gets on it. It will not disappear.

This paint pen was a game changer
I’m a calligrapher and I’ve tried so many paint pens. This pen took the cake. I love that it’s “permanent”, it’s not super easy for it to come off. But it’s easily able to come off with alcohol which is very helpful with mistakes. Love this paint pen.
