Cracking head torch
I do a lot of night photography & need a light to serve two purposes. One, to help me walk safely to my location, this does that with ease with its amazingly bright white light. The master lamp has a focus ring on it which changes the spread of light from a wide area coverage for close personal illumination to a long range tight beam of light for picking out & isolating subjects. The two satellite lamps either side help brighten up & widen the foreground spread of light. Two, there is also the function of having it give out a red light only to prevent destroying your night vision. It is very bright & does verge on being too bright if its shoe in to someone else eyes. This unit has a rechargeable battery pack which you connect via usb, adjustable strap & is comfortable to wear. I did wonder if all the lights at the front might make it unbalanced & strain your neck a little but the batt pack on the rear helps balance the front & you dont notice the weight after 5 or 10 minutes.I dont know how long the battery lasts, i recharge after every use & have it running off & on over the course of a few hours during which time it has never run out of charge.

Great but could be better
Great torch with really good visibility in quite dark enviroments & the added red light feature is very handy in places where i don't want to blind people but still have decent visibility but it still could be improved slightly in places.Improvements:Attach a foam/rubber pad on the front plastic: Wearing it without a hardhat, the front can become uncomfortable when using for extended periods of time this would remedy the problem.Add red leds to the sidelights: Having a red light option is great and very helpful but it could be further improved by having redlights also in the side lights.Better battery cover: The cover for the battery works but it could be vastly improved, such as something better than a cheap bit of ring wire to keep them together.Include the helmet clips: Since this is a torch designed for mostly using with a hardhat i feel it is an oversight to not include universal hardhat clips for mounting the torch securelyTurn off function: Adding a function that allows for rapid turn off is a quality of life improvement I would recommend. A number of torches i've used for work/general use in the past has a function such as hold for 5/10 seconds to turn off without cycling through the options to turn off.(Would happily have paid more for the torch without the improvements, you should consider these suggestions even if it increases the price)~All in all this is a great product, especially for the price whether it is for work or just general use such as walking the dogs at night. After trying a lot of different torches over the years i would recommend this to anyone who uses torches a lot but I would suggest upgrading the batteries (easy to do) if it is being used for extended periods of times regularly (More than 3/4 hours a day). I would also suggest picking up a few extra batteries to swap them in & out incase you forget to charge it/working a long graveyard shift were a torch is needed for most of it.

Really bright
Very high power and the light when in full beams is very good. The red light function is again really handy and a great feature when just needing something extra to see when camping.Solid piece of equipment. It's quite heavy on the head and actually it's quite large so sticks out like a night vision goggles.I'm please eith them overall.

Amazing for the price
I had a cheapy £10 head torch that would be better than nothing in an emergency but I wanted something more up to the job of dealing with being able to do jobs in a dark garage or loft, or maybe even for a brief bit of night hiking.I’m very impressed with these. Pretty bright and a nice even white disk of light (i only ever use the main centre light). It charges up in a few hours and seems happy holding charge for many weeks, should you need to pull them out of a drawer to deal with an emergency.I also like that when they are switched on, the battery pack on the back of your head also has a red light. This is a useful feature if a buddy is following you on a hike. It’s probably not quite as bright or last quite as long as one of the posher brands, but considering those would cost upwards of 3 times as much, this is good enough for me.A nice pouch would be good to keep it all together but it’s already good value so I can’t really complain about not having this. I ended up finding a small cloth sack that was just the right size.

Reminds me of COD - love it so much
I was looking for a headlamp to use while walking my dogs. It's getting darker and holding a torch is proving a pain.First this looks like it would be heavy, it's not. Well for me anyway. I did ask my wife to try it but she declined my invitation to wear the most awesome looking head torch ever!! Like it looks so awesome 😎.The fit is amazing, straps are easy to adjust for a comfy fit. The light can angle up and down with ease as well. Sturdy bit of kit. Most importantly the light is bright. Like a flood light on my head. You can change the lights around if you're looking for a more focused beam, but the flood light is perfect for what I need it for. I'm so chuffed with this purchase!!

Lite, brite and a good price
Light weight easy to wear for several hoursEasy to use use press and hold for the red light one quick press turns them offVery bright good field of view perfect for working in the darkI found the plastic strap on the front is a little uncomfortable but wearing them over a buff or beanie fixes that problemWhen you open it up and take the plastic wrap off the batteries they do have some charge in them I do recommend you plug them in and fully charge them before useI have used them in the rain with no problems and one night in a driving gale no water getting anywhere it shouldn'tI would recommend them I won't give them full marks until I have had them for a good few months and see how the batteries last
