I almost never leave reviews but I like this product so much. I've had 2 other fancy food processors for 5 times the price as this one which don't compare. The GE is so easy to clean! No little hidden valleys when food bits can get caught. Dishwasher safe. Plenty powerful and large enough for my needs.

OK, I'm probably one of the few people on earth who haven't used a food processor. I was needing to make large batches of home made dog food and my blender was not cutting it. This machine is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Haven't had it for a long time but I find it easy to use and very efficient. Sure has made my life easier.Update- Still loving it. It's a workhorse. Great machine!

The plastic seems like it might not hold up, so I recommend buying the Assurion protection plan to be on the safe side. Chopping blade is mostly just to puree. If you bigger pieces, use the discs (and even then, it's gonna be either slice or shred. This might have been only a 3-star, but for one feature I think is great: There's no rubber/plastic ring in the lid that needs to be removed and cleaned. That make this much easier to wash and I have less worry about bacteria collecting.The food chute does have to sizes: normal and tiny enough for mozzarella sticks. I bought this thinking it would have a wider food chute but that is not the case.

Makes healthy drinks.

I like to shred carrots and cabbage for a coleslaw. Large chuncks of both fell in with the shredded veggies. I also had to push really hard to get them shredded. Sadly, I returned this. It's like the blades were about a half inch too narrow.

I bought this to shred my food, after it's been cooked. I am elderly and living in tiny apt. This will replace my counter top mixer as well..it appears to be of high quality, not too costly and will be used every day.

The media could not be loaded. Update: 6/15/2021: I contacted customer service to explain what had happened. In their review of the return policy and warranty, the food processor will be replaced. I am impressed by the customer service they provided.I use a food processor for its intended purpose. I have owned other brands. This was a welcome addition for about 6 weeks. As shown in the video the chopping blade won't spin. The grater and slicer worked but it is not a useful product because it is unreliable. I used it about 2-4 times per week for cheese, making dog food from cooked foods and dough for pies. It had an easy life but would not reciprocate the care taken with working when needed. It can't be returned via Prime and I am awaiting the seller for further direction.
