This timed lock is PERFECT. Read the instructions - there's a temporarily available emergency unlock feature that works three times, but I never had a problem, It comes with a dual-loop-end heavy duty cable, so you can use it beyond just your usual lock uses. Add a chain and you can lock something at some distance, even use it to lock your steering wheel to something under the dash. You can set it to pop free up to 99 hours later; minutes are set with the right button, hours with the button on the left. Practice a couple of times, setting it for one minute to be sure you're comfortable with its operation. The longer you have this timed lock, the more uses you'll find for it.

Update: still using this excellent product daily. It has truly made a difference in the quality of my work and life. Best $33 I ever spent!I have been struggling with excessive use of "alternative cannabinoids" (Delta 8, HCC, etc) since Covid. My willpower alone was not enough to keep me out of my "stash" during the workday, but this little guy saved the day, quite literally! My routine now is the have the lock open at 5pm, and by 7pm its locked again until the next happy hour. With this lock I am finally cutting back and hopefully one day I won't need it at all.If I could change one thing is would be to make a more obvious charging indicator. FYI, when the LCD backlight flashes, its charging. When its solid lit, it's charged. USB C would have been nice too, but I'm splitting hairs.

It does what it says. It can be a little inconvenient if you accidentally go passed the time you meant to set it for, as the numbers only go up but not down. So you either have to keep going all the way up until it loops back to 00:00 or you have to wait for the lock to power off so you can reset it entirely and get the correct time. Make sure you're careful not to overshoot it. It seems secure enough for casual use, though I doubt I would use it to safeguard anything of critical importance.

Love the freakin' thing.Totally works. Choose an unlock time, lock up the stuff. Unlocks with a slight 'shhm' sound. Seems highly machined. Unbeatable.There are competitors, one designed for a gym bag, I forget the other.I use this on kitchen cabinets. Works great. Wish I had more to say, but it is a very straightforward device. Love it.

It is great if you are not intelligent enough to try the easiest trick in the book to open a pad lock. The latch is stupid is to pop with a piece of a pop can. The aluminum is strong enough to open the latch. Why can’t they make a lock that actually locks with having keys literally sitting in your refrigerator.

If you’re looking for a good electronic lock for extra safe keeping, look no further. Simple and easy lock, really easy to use and master. I enjoy that there are only 3 overrides to use for the entirety of its life, helps you accomplish what it is you’re looking for, whether to keep things secure or help practice good habits to lock stuff up.As well, customer service team is fantastic! I accidentally cracked the LCD screen on a corner of my desk. Not only did they respond quickly, they back up their word on honoring their 2 year warranty! They immediately sent out a replacement lock within a week. It’s hard to find good companies who stand by their policies! I would highly recommend this product!

This product is just what I wanted. It’s helpful for locking things away for forced time away from distracting devices, and I’ve even started using it at the gym to force me to stay for a specific period of time.However, at least twice now, the lock did not open at the end of the countdown. At home, it’s fine; I can just set the lock for a minute and wait for another countdown. When I’m rushed and my car keys and wallet are being held captive at the gym, it’s a bigger deal. It’s the only downside I’ve encountered so far, but it’s substantial enough that I knocked off two stars.

It just works. Even the 3 times lockout actually works (yes I found that out, you can figure why...)But note that after the lock loses power, it will reset that count to 3 again, but it take months before it looses power so its not a issue, even a feature I'll say for times when you absolutely need to open it before the timer done counting.Also when it looses power it remains locked but once you connect the power it opens up instantly (which is good, and is something nobody seems to mention and I was worried about it).Very good lock again, very useful to curb distractions.
