This is my second purchase of these placemats; the first one was three years ago. They are still in great shape, and they have not stained or ripped. They have held up better than an expensive pair purchased from a well known kitchen store that are covered in stains and ripped.

I like these vs cloth. I leave them out daily and can just wipe them off to clean as needed.

These placemats are stylish and match my home decor. Just wipe clean and heat tolerant. There is a grease stain that will not come off but cannot tell because it blends in with the vintage art design. I bought my mother the rooster placemats and she uses them everyday and still look new.

These placemats are just like the ones our British relatives have, except sized for American plates, lol. Great quality, non-skid with the cork, backing, great table protection from hot dishes, and easy to wipe clean.
