Salt herring for your family pickled herring recipes!
Nice salted herring filets. This company has excellent customer service as well. I encountred a shipping snafu which resulted in my order sitting at Fedex for several days while the dry ice melted, etc. so our order was not safe to eat. These folks sent another order at no charge. They deserve top scores for that alone. We soaked the fish, changing the water every few hours for a couple days. Cant wait to try the pickled herring we made.

Noon Hour Salt Herring Fillet in Brine, 5 lb. Bucket
Could of used a couple more ice packs to keep cold .Fillets were smaller than i expected and could of be bigger. Other than that everything was good ..

Old produce
Terrible produce! We ordered for holidays, my husband wanted to make his own marinated herring using this product. Very disappointing as when the produce was washed, it turned to sandy texture and broke. It was sitting in a liquid for a long time, it would have never happened with a fresh produce. We are very very disappointed, as we ended up throwing all out. Tried contacting the vendor, not available!

Prompt Delivery and Good Quality
Herring filets in salt brine arrived well-packed and chilled. The filets were smaller than expected and the net weight (5 lbs) made less pickled herring than I had hoped. I suspect the reported net weight included the brine water. Nevertheless, the herring was of good quality, and after extended rinsing made satisfactory pickled herring. Recommended.

Is hard to find herrings like this. Nice size fillet , good protecting packing, fast delivery.
I like everything about that herrings size, packing, I would like even more if prize would be lower

total disappointment
uneatable something. Not the salt herring but the rusty salt in the shape of fish. and they don't refund me $92. What I have to do with tails?

Very well done
be sure to soak overnight and change the water a few times. They will be too salty if this is not done. The flavor is just right and the fish are firm.
