Patched hole in sailboat deck
Very durable cloth. Applied with 3M Resin mix to fill a hole on sailboat foredeck- part of process of repairing damage caused by mast stay popping free and mast toppling. 4 layers of this 1708 cloth, interleaved with chop strand, resulted in solid deck that will give excellent support to mast.

Super thick. Soaks up resin.
Well this cost me a fortune in resin, but thats what its meant to do, i guess. Its think, layered, heavy, all that I asked for but may have been overkill for my needs. It takes a lot of resin to saturate. I cannot imagine trying to use epoxy resin with this, as it would probably never fully absorb. Laminating resin goes on well, and that's what it is made for. Just a DIYer here but it held together well.
