This rodder is perfect if you need a little more rigidity than a regular fish tape offers. I used this to pull fiber optic cable through an 3" conduit through the ground and it worked quickly and made it much easier to do the run.

This thing is great. For the price and the length and thickness you can’t touch it. I’m a contractor for a major cable provider all I do all day is run fiber hardline and fix pipes. It’s very durable and gets the job done. If your in the fence I would give it a try.

Quality rodders are expensive. This rodder is neither quality, nor expensive, and thus fills an important niche.I usually take the approach of buy once cry once, but spending $1K+ for a rodder just isn't appealing to me at this time.While it is semi-cheaply made, it does the job. I've used it multiple times and the rod itself has not failed. It does have the 'runaway' tendency and the brake is poorly designed and does not work well, but overall this tool can be had comparatively cheaply and gets the job done.

This works great for long conduit runs. Had to pull additional conductor in 170ft conduit with 2 90 degree sweeps and decided to give this a try before pulling out all wires. It worked better than expected and with a little cable lube it pushed right through, saved me time and money. The stand also has a brake built in brake. For pulling I taped the new conductor along the rod rather than use the small metal tip for fear it would break off.

Broke at first used. Used it on140 ft conduit and it broke. Do not buy this if you work in a trade that uses rodders. Buy something better. I thought of giving it a try from reading good reviews but noooooo "do not buy this". Look for something better out there. I'm hoping to get my money back.

Nice stand. Simple but effective brake looks a little off-kilter but works fine. The fish tape works well for long runs with large radius (approx 12" radius) bends. Brass tip is non-removable and does not accept threaded accessories. Excellent value. I've only used it once so cannot comment about longevity.

This is a great deal and quality product. It has already paid for itself.
