Is the Angle Drag Race supposed to come with the board already put together, or should it all be on the punch out boards?

All the parts are on the punch out boards.

It is made of wood. It's sturdy , yet pliable. My kid loves it. It is put together with small rubber bands instead of glue.

Is this a "one & done" activity? Meaning, once the parts are set up, can it be taken apart and laid out differently, or is it always laid out the same
