I don't have a good area to ride near my house. So I need to load my ebike and hop in the car for about ten minutes. My old bike rack was totally not suitable for my new 60 pound ebike. The Hollywood Rack makes it easy for me to load my bike. The included ramp is a wonder--with deep enough troughs to make sure the bike stays on track while I'm pushing it up, lightweight, but not bendy at all. I'm not a big person or a strong one. I'm a reasonable fit, 130 pound, little old lady who had shoulder surgery six months ago. And this rack makes it easy to travel with my bike. Yay!!! I couldn't be happier. One tip--the first time I tried to load my bike, I put one hand on the handlebars and the other on the seat--much easier to steer and push with both hands on the handlebars. The back of the bike will follow the front, so you just have to control the front.

The Hollywood Destination E is an excellent e-bike rack. Well made, easy to assemble, and easy to use. This is my second bike rack. I went cheap on the first one because I wasn't sure how much I would use it. Well, turns out my significant other and I use it regularly. The problem is, she is retired while I am not and she wanted the ability to take her e-bike on rides with her girlfriends when I am at work. That meant getting a rack she could load her e-bike on to and off of without my help, and the Destination E is perfect. The loading ramp is long enough to be useful and it comes with the rack, included in the price. Similar racks from other companies come with a ramp so short as to be virtually unusable by a smaller woman, and the longer rack like the one you get with the Destination E is an additional $100. The rack secures to her RAV4 hitch solidly and easily, and she can get her e-bike on and off by herself, so mission accomplished! We have used the rack multiple times already in the month or so since we got it. I can't say enough good things about Hollywood Bike Racks. The Destination E is simply excellent and I am now a HUGE FAN!

Changed rating from 3 to 4 stars.Update: Finally got the replacement bolt and got to use the rack. It seems sturdy and stable enough for our bikes. Folding it down and back up to get in my hatchback is has been an issue. I have trouble getting the pin in and out. It is very tight! I need to sit on the ground and putz with it to get it to line up, then smack it with something. Same problem with the pin getting the rack out if the hitch. I'm putting WD40 and a hammer in my car for next time.Will update after I drive over a mountain range this weekend. Fingers crossed.***Original Review*****Rack arrived. Box looked OK. One bolt holding on a wheel strap was bent at about a 45⁰ angle. I straightend it out with vice grips, damaging the threads. I knew it had experienced metal fatigue, so I knew it was useless and I would not trust it to hold a $3000 bike. I promptly emailed Hollywood Racks to send me a replacement bolt. I was told to fill out a Warrantee Claim.Thus began my saga. It took over 3 hours to fill it out. The link sent in an email only sometimes worked.When it did, it timed out every 30 seconds, making me start completely over. And over. And over! Then I got an email asking for a photo of the problem. Silly me. By then I had tossed it. I took a photo of the missing bolt. No joy.ITS ONE (1) BOLT!! ARGHHH! We can't carry two bikes because one (1) bolt is missing. Is it too much to send a bolt, one (1) bolt to a customer??SUMMARY: I SPENT $700 BUCKS FOR A BIKE RACK AND REPLACING ONE (1) BENT BOLT IS A MAJOR PIA?? SERIOUSLY?

The rack is well built and checks all the boxes. A ramp, full tilt down, tilt up to store, anti-rattle hitch, and safety features. The clamps can be positioned in such a way that an adapter bar isn't needed for step through bikes. I have Aventon Since step over and a Pace step through. Works great, bikes are secured.

Nice and sturdy. Good quality racks that we need for our expensive E-bikes. For the premium price they are selling, wish we got the rack valet with them which would have made storing a bit easier, when not in use.
