These are perfect! Vaccuum-sealed, straight copies of the Pacific Islander version of coated peanuts. The more "flavorful" ones that people comment about are actually from Mexico, and have a heavier, salty taste.These are the version you get from the Philippines or Indonesia, and are meant to be a light, crunchy, peanuty snack you munch on while doing something else. Pour yourself a bowl, sit at your computer and finish that report, and when you look up, the entire bowl is empty!

Absolutely love the taste. But you need really good teeth to eat these. VERY HARD TO EAT.

They are just like the ones that I remember, only these are a bit sweeter which I love.

I didn't get the peanuts I wanted...they didn't even come in the same packaging. This was my fourth order of the Japanese peanuts. I liked them a lot and they came in a 3 lb bag. This one came in a 4 lb bag and did not have the light soy sauce flavor I wanted. They tasted more like a fortune cookie coating. Hopefully next time I order, I actually get what I ordered.
