When our adopted adult Doberman came to live with us he was not leash trained. Walks were painful, not for him but for me. I am petite but workout regularly and am quite strong. But you guessed it...he was much, much stronger than I was. I was constantly pulled no matter what redirections, what corrective action, or what treat I utilized. I even went to an enclosed, defunct tennis court to practice with no distractions, but the pulling persisted. The pulling progressed to the point that I could no longer walk him as an old back injury had flared up because of the pulling. Not only was my movement limited but also most movements were painful. I became so uncomfortable that I could no longer walk him and had to enlist the aid of my husband and son. Finally after days of research, I found a consumer information evaluation of a variety of dog harnesses; Rabbitgoo (I agree a strange name for sure) was the number one of all those evaluated. With promising reviews and a reasonable price, I decided to order one. When it arrived both my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the materials and the construction. There is no choke component whatsoever. The harness is made of a nice weight, durable nylon that is padded for the dog's comfort. It slides easily over his head, and he does not mind wearing it at all. The harness attaches behind his front legs fastening with two heavy duty plastic fasteners onto to his back. There is a hand sized nylon loop on the back of the harness for extra control if needed and two metal rings where the leash attaches; one is on the back and the other on the front. The one in front is the one to be used for pulling prevention. In addition to reflective stitching, four straps provide for easy adjustments on the chest and neck which enable the harness to be customized to the dog as well as to grow with the dog. There are absolutely no worries about the dog slipping out of the harness. Having used the harness for 4 months there has been no noticeable wear and tear on any portion of it. The straps remain intact with no loose threads or fraying, the adjustments of the straps for size and fit do not relax or loosen, and no areas of irritation have appeared on my dog's skin or hair. Since using the harness walking has remarkably improved. I need to add that the harness did not work miracles, but it certainly helped tremendously. Since our dog was so big and I am quite petite we enlisted the aid of a trainer to ensure that I was in control, and with the aid of the harness I could manage him solely on my own. The two combined have completely solved the pulling problem. The dog knows I am the leader and the challenging behavior has disappeared. Walking is now a pleasure and a joy for both me and my dog. I am confident and secure with my dog in this harness whether we are out for a walk or at the vet's office. This harness is available in 5 sizes and 18 colors. The media could not be loaded. This harness is it for my dog! I've struggled to slow my exicitable Cocker Spaniel on walks. He got better over time but was still pulling hard enough to make my arm sore. Tried several different methods and harnesses and leashes to no avail. This one somehow made a huge difference with the front leash hook making it awkward for my dog when he tries to pull. It also has a hook on top if the front hook doesn't work for particular dog or situation as well as a bigger loop for an easy grab. The harness is made very well and with durable material unlike many others I've tried. It's also trimmed with reflective straps that are so convenient and useful for walking in the dark. The straps are easily adjustable around the neck and chest to fit the dog properly and comfortably. Lastly, it looks great on my dog.The only issue I have is the neck hole. Because it has no clasps, you have to pull it over thru the dog's head to put it on which is not a big deal until you have to take it off. My dog has big cocker spaniel ears and big top head. I have to be careful so his ears don't get stuck and hurt him.

This harness is great for my corgi pup! I also ordered a small which I am sure she'll be using once she grows a little. For a 16 lb puppy I just resized up about halfway and it's great! Seems durable and she adapted immediately.I've ordered other harnesses from this seller and appreciate the ease of resizing!I will definitely buy from this seller again! Better than more expensive harnesses and I love the purple. I don't think she cares what color it is but I love it and I love the easy resizing, no Velcro here, easy snaps and not at all stiff!

I adopted a 3-yr old Great Pyrenees (99-lbs) from the Humane Society that had been both abused and neglected leaving her flea ridden and madded to the point of needing to be shaved from the neck down. She had clearly been physically abused for having the audacity to bark and was left afraid to the point of not moving or eating/ drinking for a day or two at a time (even with encouragement and fresh meat!). Seizing the opportunity during this Corona-Virus voluntary & govt. encouraged shelter in place, she has come a LONG way.This harness has enabled me to manage her (hear encourage her movement) in healthy and productive ways. Lifting up slightly on the handle and pulling forward has her walking voluntarily (reluctantly at first) toward scheduled activities like am-yard time, breakfast, grooming time, lead walking time, etc. The other two harnesses were not as effective. In fact, she fully resisted them and fearfully dug in to stay put. Once fitted properly, this Rabbitgoo harness worked the first time I tried it with her so it clearly puts the pressure in the correct spots without fostering fear or inflicting pain in an already traumatized dog.I highly recommend this harness and will buy more Rabbitgoo No-Pull Pet Harnesses for my dogs, my fosters and my rescues in the future. There is enough difference in design, quality and fit that is not obvious just from comparing pictures when looking at varied brands online and in person. Please see some of those details here:****** PROs ************* LOVE the design and cut of this harness: I was skeptical as it was "small footprint" of harness compared to some others I have used so I feared it would be as ineffective as the strap harnesses I tried with her already. Once fitted properly, it doesn't chafe and the dog can't get to it to chew it. She has tried, too. She rolls around on the grass in the yard trying to shimmy it so she can get it in her mouth. No JOY! thank-goodness. I have had other dogs get to harnesses this way (adjustment clips loosen, the harness/straps innately more accessible, etc.).* The reflective properties are fantastic and are visible from quite a distance (length of my dark street) according to my neighbor. Other harnesses have reflective properties but this is the first one in 20 years that my neighbor commented on so it is significantly more visible to her. I had that impression just from seeing the dog in the dark part of my fenced yard at night but my neighbor's observation confirmed it for me. As we all know, the farther away a dog can be seen, the more likely a car is to not hit them if they get off lead or escape the yard.* Highly adjustable - Which is great for large dogs and especially if you have growing dogs and or mixed breeds such that chest and neck measurements along with arm pit needs can be challenging to meet without chafing. I tried it on my friend's pit-bull and since it is an XLG I figured it would be too big. However, at the tighter end of the adjustments I could still get a decent fit though I would have chosen a large for the pitty if I were buying one. Her pit is 60 or 65 lbs just for comparison.* LOVE the metal leash rings. These are quality and not likely to break or fatigue like plastic rings on some other brand harnesses. Also, sewing on these rings is heavy duty and quality done. I am confident the rings will hold when and if they are stressed. I have no concerns about them breaking from fatigue or being pulled from the fabric in a heavy pull situation much less every day walking.****** CONs ************* Wish the handle on top was thicker as it would be easier to grip and hold, especially in situations where the animal is excited/ frightened. I will add a foam grip/wrap. Other harnesses I have used have easier to grip handles. This is the primary reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars.* This might need to be an observation but I wish the clips were metal rather than plastic as plastic tends to get brittle and or fatigue over time and exposure (UV, temperature changes, etc.). I haven't had this long enough to see if this concern is justified but have had this experience with other harnesses so I'll keep an eye.Perhaps a metal clip option could be an area of possible improvement? I recognize for dogs that are in the water, etc. metal has it's own downsides (rust/ corrosion) but perhaps it's an option. We'll see if they fail in a year or two of consistent use, I'll update here but they are quality plastic clips.****** Observations ********* The advertised Lime Green is not Lime Green. It is Fluorescent Yellow.Not as huge a deal for this dog in this moment since she is my only rescue/foster and dog at the moment. However, I have had up to 6 at a time (Rotties primarily). The color matters when you color code for multiple dogs and they are the same breed/ color. All her other items are Lime Green so when I have multiples again in the future, I'll have to deal with the color issue then. It looks more green in the online image than in reality. SEE PICTURE of Yuki ( pronounced Yookee ) in her Lime collar with her fluorescent yellow harness. The good news is fur is growing back from all the hots spots, flea bits and nervous self chewing!!!!! This harness has contributed to building confidence in me for her as we work together to overcome her fearfulness and build her confidence back.

This harness was delivered within days of ordering. Great service! It fits well and our dog likes it. We used a prong collar before but this is definitely "kinder" and keeps her under control.Hope it lasts awhile. Seems like a sturdy product so far. Happy with my purchase.

Wish we had purchased one of these a long time ago. We have a WH Dachshund X JRT he is fairly stocky.Using the easy size guide he measured on the cusp at the top end of small, bought the medium it fits perfectly. It’s easy to adjust, the padding is super soft, wicks away water and is easy to clean. He was happy to wear it straight away. It’s a really well made sturdy harness. It looks great on him, very complimentary to his coat. There is also the reflective element for safety.One of the best aspects was the increased control and his pulling stopped straight away. Definitely recommend buying one.
