Great suitcases and light

These are good-looking cases when new, but the shine soon goes. The quality of the external fixtures is not up to standard. After using for a single trip, some of the colour used to make the case look aluminium has already started to wear off, so don't expect them to last in a busy airport environment. More disappointingly, the wheels are made of inferior quality plastic and don't appear to be well designed. I was unlucky to have one of the wheels break whilst pulling the case from the car park to the airport, so I'm not holding much hope of the other one lasting very long. On the plus side they are easy to spot on the conveyor belt at the airport.

I am really pleased with this case and would buy other sizes if I needed them but I already have other large and Extra large cases.The combination instructions did not tally with the lock and I had a lot of trouble getting customer service to respond (5 messages through different emails/ Messenger etc)but eventually they did and the correct instructions went sent. This was all annoying and time wasting for me and I nearly returned the case. However, I wanted to keep it as it seemed really good. Having used it now it is sturdy, lightweight and very easy to handle. I would highly recommend it.

I like the case and have bought other sizes in the range, the handle could have been made more sturdy and I’m disappointed there’s no key supplied for the lock but all in all I like the case.

I am leave this review to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the suitcases I recently purchased from your esteemed establishment. It deeply saddens me to inform you that the quality of the suitcases has been far from satisfactory, leading to several inconveniences during my travels.First and foremost, the overall condition of the suitcases leaves much to be desired. The material used seems to be of very poor quality, and it is evident that no attention to detail was given in their manufacturing. The suitcases appear to be flimsy and lack the necessary durability expected from such products.Furthermore, it is disheartening to mention that the lock mechanism on all the suitcases is already broken. The lock, which plays a vital role in ensuring the security of one's belongings, has clearly failed to meet its purpose. This has not only raised concerns about the safety of my possessions but has also caused me unnecessary inconvenience while attempting to secure my belongings during my travels.Additionally, I must highlight the issue with the wheels of these suitcases. Right from the beginning, the wheels have been faulty and do not roll smoothly as expected. This has resulted in significant difficulty and frustration while maneuvering the suitcases, especially in crowded airports and train stations. The poor quality of the wheels has seriously hindered the overall functionality of the suitcases, making travelling an arduous task rather than a seamless experience.

It looked nice and sturdy when I got it, but one of the wheels no longer does a 360 turn after my first trip. The whole suitcase swerves to one side. Careful inspection shows that the wheel attachment got slightly damaged (possibly when it was thrown to the luggage belt conveyor).

If you found this listing by searching for "aluminum suitcase", (like me,) beware! This is NOT an "aluminum suitcase", despite the prominent item title. Instead it is an "aluminum FRAME" suitcase, something you will only discover if you either scroll all the way down to interrogate every word of the description, or order it.When I bought this item it was definitely at the lower end of the price spectrum for carry-on baggage. That said, Xiaomi had released an all aluminum case at a similar price point earlier in the year, so it was not implausible pricing for the off-peak travel season.The item arrived quickly, but upon opening it, it was immediately clear that this was not what I anticipated receiving based on the item title. It does have an aluminum frame, but this only serves to highlight the fact that this is a pastiche of a metal case.This could perhaps be forgiven if the build quality actually was "premium", but the reality is that the whole thing feels cheap. Whilst it may survive delicate handling as cabin baggage, if I was forced to check it in is suspect that it would not survive the tender ministrations of the average airport baggage handler.Pity, it looks attractive, but I would not trust it with my belongings.
