Carbon Charcoal Vent Filter compatible with Hygena Cooker Extractor Hood (Pack of 2)

Considering the OEM parts are 4 times the cost, I was expecting much but these do work as expected, good airflow and seem to quench the odours. Fitting was easy.Compared to the OEM part I removed, they are slightly shallower and contain less carbon but enough to do the job and more than justify the price saving.

The filters were good value and had a prompt delivery although installing them was not as expected.

A perfect fit for my Extractor Hood. If you're not sure about compatibility then I'd search online against your model number and the answer will be available somewhere. Build quality is a good as the original, but at a much better price! Plus I now have a spare one ready for next time it needs replacing.

Excellent filters for my xpelair extractor hood

I was really happy to find these as my hood is old, from MFI & couldn't get these locally. Really made a difference to the previous clouds of steam.

Long overdue change to my charcoal filter. Purchased on reading reviews. It is not a Branded product but generic. Comes as a 2-pack. Not sure it feels as there is as much charcoal in these as the Branded ones, but comes in much cheaper.I was worried from reviews that they were fiddly to fit, so went in with caution. However, the old filter came out with only a slight twist and the new filter went back in as easy as the old one came out. Great that I've got a spare for next time. Will purchase again as required. Had I known it was so easy to change I may have purchased sooner.Picture on web shows both parts of the filter for display purposes only, i.e. the bit that is permanently fastened to your cooker hood stops there forever - you are actually only purchasing the lower bit with the charcoal in it as that is only the bit that requires changing.

My new home, the kitchen, did not have an extractor that extracts to the outside, so had to buy this, as temporary measure until I can drill a hole in the wall and fit a pipe. It works - my kitchen does not smell of cooking.
